curl activator?

what is a curl activator. i mean is it a chemical? because i was under the impression it was, like a texturizer or somthing, but made to make your hair curly. but i hear people with natural hair using it. so what is it exactly?

also i've been acused of using it (pic below), i don't btw, thats what made me wonder what it was.

I use Care Free Curl Gold post twist out. I just rub it throughout my hair. My dad has been using Care Free Curl Gold on his little 'fro for years. My dad put his on hair and scalp while it is still damp and lets it dry.

It works good on dry or wet/damp hair

Curlee, I can't help you with the curl activor. I'm looking for a great one myself. But your hair is to die for!!!!! I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! I'm glad we have a man around to add to our discussions.

you can use curl activator like any other get ONLY i would reccomend using it much more sparingly because glycerine is high up on the list of ingredients so it could take FOREVER to dry if you use too much.

You may want to try it (but what you are using now seems to give you nice results too), i love it for my frizz & dryness-prone 4a hair. moisture, shine, softness.
