Default Is it normal to have varying textures in your hair??

im just curious. my hair gets straighter as it goes down. i dont think its damage or anything because i grew out my relaxer like 8 years ago. its frustrating sometimes though because i cant just like untwist myy hair because the ends are somewhat straight or less curly and it looks weird to me. ugh my hair!!!

I sort of know what you mean. Some parts of my hair feel wavy at the root and curly at the ends.

Maybe you can put a couple of perm rods on the end of your twists?

Default Yes, I know exactly what you mean!

My hair is coarser and finer in the front--just along the hairline, the middle is more of a wavy/spirally pattern and the back is more of an actual coil. It looks kinda weird and sometimes it is hard to blend. The front of my hair does not really curl or wave---it just clumps together. But I suppose that will change with more hair growth. Recently, I cut all the straighter ends off the problem area in the front---it is easier to coil and twist but I miss my length just a smidge.
