BBD Stretch vs. Stretch Silkening Creme

I've been around long enough to remember when BBD Stretch was all the rage. It's $45 a jar and they used to use it at Miss Jessie's salon when it was Curve.

So now I'm curious. Is Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Creme the same thing as BBD Stretch? I've noticed that the price is about the same if you consider that Miss Jessie's Stretch is about half the size of BBD Stretch.

Has anybody here used both and can you tell me the difference between the two?
What is the BBD stretch?

I just sold my tub of BBD Stretch because I never figured out how to use it. The directions and descriptions didn't help. The tub said it wasn't a conditioner but a reconstructor but I remember people leaving it in or using it for styling. I liked rinsing it out better than leaving it in.

Also there were no ingredients listed on the tub so I never knew what was in it.
4a/b Texlaxed hair w/ highlights. Medium texture & high porosity.

HG's: CJ Daily Fix, Bobeam Cheris Hibiscus shampoo bar, KC Spiral Spritz, Knot Today, CJ Rehab, KBB LL Hair Mask, Cassia, KCCC, oil blend of Avocado, Camellia, Jojoba, & Meadowfoam oils

I never tried it because it looked to me like it catered to chemically relaxed hair, but I have tried the BBD Glass Curling Creme ($35) before I ever tried Curling Custard and Curly Pudding. The Glass was a waste of money for my 4A hair. I'll stick with my Custard.

This stuff is the best thing since sliced bread!!!! I have not used it since the BC, BUT, when I was transitioning I used it to flat iron my hair and it was the best. It made my hair smell great, my hair was silky and had a nice sheen. If you flat iron your hair at all, I would recommend it.
They have youtube videos now. Very impressive product.
