Default GOOD SMELLING ESSENTIAL OILS...

Can anyone tell me what essential oils smell nice for home-made hair products? My local Natural store doesn't have any samplers... so I got some lavender one day, put one too many drops in, and wasn't feeling the strong smell! Any suggest. will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I like peppermint. To me, it has a nice, fresh smell.

ditto the peppermint. orange, lemon, grapefruit, rosewater.

I also use sage and rosemary, but like lavender, too much can turn the product too strongly scented.

I like english lavender over french lavender, it's milder and more "buttery." I also like lemon and tuberose.

A little goes a long way with most EOs!

If you like floral scents, geranium is a good one for dry hair.

Rosewood is another fleural nice one.

I love spearmint (smells like doublemint gum).

Orange oil is a nice citrusy one.

Vanilla is nice too, but it is expensive.
