Last night I prepoo'd with DevaCurl One Condition, then shampoo'd with Healing Herbs By Rene Peppermint Ginger Lime Shampoo, added Roux Porosity Control Conditioner for 30 seconds and then conditioned with the One Condition.

After the shampoo my hair was soft, after the porosity control it wasnt so reconditioned.

Then shingled in Hair Rules Curl Whip and a little Jane Carter Curl Cream.

Hair was no where near dry because I started my hair at 1115pm at night lol.

It wasnt that bad when I woke up so I kept it moving

Washed half of my head with Dr bronner's castille soap, washed the other half with the boots ingredients shampoo.

DCed with some hair mayo , added herbal essences its a curl thing, ended up wasting so much conditioner. For some reason I didn't know what I wanted to do.

Added some coconut oil, Hawaiin silky 14 n 1.( Giovanni leave in doesn't last long enough) ; used shea coco mix for my ends

6 chunk braids, will try a braid out for church , if it fails, I'll go to my fail proof updo

I love No. 5! If I recall a long time ago there was a No 8 and that smelled awesome. They don't make it anymore.

there's a no. 18 from the Chanel Les Exclusifs collection. I've only tried Sycomore & 28 La Pausa so far from that group...My fave Chanels are no. 19(esp vintage, pre-reformulation mmmmm but the current pure perfume is still pretty good) & Pour Monsieur(yah, i know it's for men but i love wearing it). I love the vintage no 5. too but not as much as 19. It's my Grail perfume.
I think it was actually 19 I meant.

Took out the coils from the back (made about 4 or 5 pieces from one) and braids in the front. Tousled the roots and tucked in any pieces that were sticking out too much. Applied coconut oil (first time!) and it looks great!! Plan to use the coconut oil on my sons hair later!

My hair was feeling dryer then usual after my Amla treatment so I co-washed with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa last night, added KCKT and KBB Hair Milk as leave in's. Added some CIAB and some Long Aide gel and braided it up for a bun. I added some CIAB this morning and some Ecostyler Blue gel but this didn't slick my hair back like usual so I added some Ecostyler Olive Oil gel (which works like a charm) and some Cocosta oil and now my hair is beginning to feel normal.

Just coiled my son's hair (he's 3). Used KCKT and SM Smoothie...didn't want to put gel in his hair. Not sure if the two mix well together though. I need it to dry fully to see. I'll put some coconut oil in the morning to give it some shine.

Edit Monday am:
Definitely won't be mixing the two together in the future. White residue.

+1 Great combo for me too! I also use the deep condish as a moisturizing cream. Smells funky but works great. And lastly I added coconut oil to the Soft Curls creme...more slip and moisture!!!

idk when I last typed but i'm on week 3 of protective styling (mini twists with castor oil)... this castor oil is making my hair thicker and softer, was afraid to use it daily before but it seems like by using it more now, I am seeing a need for less products. This is amazing for a ultra-busy, simple minimallist like me!

amla is acidic because its vit.C. Try dc'ing with no protein.
