Co-washed with Suave Coconut conditioner
Detangled with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
Deep conditioned with a homemade Alopecia conditioner which included:
Suave Sea Breeze Conditioner as a base
Jojoba Oil
Grapeseed Oil
Essential Oils of
Thyme
Rosemary
Lavendar
Cedarwood
Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
Jessicurl Deep Treatment
Deity America Deep Treatment
I put on a plastic cap for 1 hour and then I got under the steamer for 1/2 hour and then rinsed.
I added Giovanni Direct Leave in and then Cocosta Oil and Karen's Body Beautiful's Hair Milk and braided it up in preparation for a bun.

This morning I unbraided my hair and added Long Aid Styling gel and Ecostyling gel in Olive Oil. Nice, shiney and sleek bun for Jury Duty today!

Over the weekend I dyed my hair.... First I had to use a color remover (Bleach) for about 10 mins then I used Loreal HiColor for dark hair Intense Red. Finally got a good color and I am super happy with it.

Last Night I DC'd w/ CJ DF and used Mozeke's grapeseed detangler as a LI and the Cocoa conditioning cream to twist with. I currently have my hair in 3 flat twist a la tonidaley80 from yt. I am hoping to keep these in for the week. We'll see lol

I love red. Did you dye your whole head? I streaked my bangs the beginning of the month, used Jazzing Ruby Red and Cherry Cola though. Must look into this L'Oreal you speak of

Default First Homemade Protein Treatment

So yesterday I did my first homemade protein treatment. I used 3 egg yolks, mayo & evoo. The mix itself turned out better than I thought it would...I thought it would be super runny but it was a little thicker than my SM shampoo. I could just scoop my hand in and apply it to my head.

So I did that in sections all over, covered my head w/my plastic conditioning cap for an hr, rinsed w/cold water, used SM shampoo to wash, SM condish & coconut oil to detangle, then I applied a little extra coconut oil to each section, covered again w/a plastic conditioning cap, sat under the dryer for 45 mins, rinsed & put my hair in bantu knots w/my whipped shea butter.

I did notice less hair coming out when I was styling but I guess the true test will be in the weeks to come & how my hair responds. Right now I look forward to doing this again next month!

After rinsing out DC decided to dust/trim the ends.

Then added my beloved baby daddy Qhemet BRBC

Not nothing...same modified wng from Saturday. Hair is soft, shiny and curly. I prefer my twists and twist outs but this hot weather is limiting my choices.

WNG with KC Come Clean, Avon Naturals Pomegranate & Mango Nurturing condish (for curly & wavy hair), 3MM, KCKT, KBB hair oil, KCCC then diffused a bit.

First time using the Avon condish, I like, it has good slip and I was able to detangle with it. It has 'cones in it. Cheap, $4.

This was a defined and soft perfect twist out when I left the house.

Checked the dewpoint and it was 83.

Pre poo with olive oil, washed in sections with garnier triple nutrition, DCed with curl rehab, used Giovanni direct leave in. Used an oil mix of castor and argan and set on flexi rods to airdry. Hoping for the best!

I deep conditioned with 1 egg, essential oils and suave almond butter mixture. Shampooed with sulfate free organix coconut milk, rinsed with apple vinegar +water. Applied softsheen curl butter, wrapped in plastic cap for overnight. Hair feels sooooo soft!
