Yesterday, took out the twists and put some of Kyra's Ultimate Indulgence Sweet Mango Butter throughout. Parted the bangs in the middle and pinned each side. Didn't end up liking the style by the time I got to work, looked like two pony puffs at the side of my head, which I wasn't in the mood for.

Last night I picked it out and did some big braids, spritzing each section with water and a bit of Eco Argan. This morning, took out the braids and got rid of the parts with my fingers and put some of Kyra's mango butter again, but just on the canopy to tame the frizzies.

Finishing these tomorrow. Today I used SM Curl & Style Milk instead of Oyin.

For as long as these are taking to put in, I'm trying to keep then in for two weeks...if my scalp doesn't act up.

Prepood with A little of Ambrosia Hair Satin Curls Detangling Leave in and Hairveda Vatika frosting
Washed with Queen Helene Royal Curl Stay Clean Shampoo, then rinsed added Moisture
Rich Conditioner
to each section, rinse out after 5 minutes, then used Curl Junkie CA Smoothing daily Conditioner, left a tad bit in and then proceeded
to add the Curl Shaping Creme, Hair was looking a hot mess so after 2 hours, just slicked back
into two ponytails.

This morning took down the ponytails, shook hair , added some of Jane Carter Nourish and Shine to each section and then put back into two ponytails.

Last night:
Spritzed water and 2-strand flat-twisted my bang
Big ole single twists on the rest (dry, no water added)

This morning:
Took twists out and re-did the style from yesterday, faux-hawk. Put some SM Yucca & Baobab thickening milk in the back and Enso milk in the bangs. Finished with a lil JC N&S. Didn't put water or any SM CE mist this time. I think I made it too poufy yesterday. I also pinned back some more of my bang as to not get that fanned out rake look like yesterday.

Mimi2010,

I'm not sure either. It was 113 degrees yesterday!

On a side note...I think I'm gonna try Naptural85's french braid out technique. It looks pretty easy & the results come out looking like a stretched out wash and go.

Prepoo/steamed with BS Peppermint Mud Mask
Cleansed with BeeMine Rhassoul Clay Poo Bar
Detangled/RO with KUI Coconut Cream Conditioner

WnG with:
KUI Hydrating Hemp Conditioner

My hair feels awesome and my hair finally touches my shoulders. Possibly this mud mask really does elongate??

I tend to miss my curls as soon as I straighten to. I usually end it just putting my hair in a bun when it's straight with the intention of leaving it like that for a week, but normally by day 3 I'm so tired of the boring straight hair that I just wash again to see my curls.

So last night I did an overnight coconut oil treatment. After I workout I will co-wash, detangle & put bantu knots bk in my hair w/my whipped shea butter after I dust my ends.

Hi JaylensMami10,
Three questions:
1. What does your coconut oil treatment consist of?
2. Will you please share your whipped shea butter recipe?
3. What is your method for dusting your ends & how often do you do it? I've been twisting my hair and & clipping the straggles on the ends.
