I concur How long did you leave them in for before you took them down? I stopped trying this style because not only was it making sleep impossible for me, but my hair was always damp when I took them down

Washed with Deity Poo
Deep conditioned with OM Intense Quench Deep Conditioner
Rinsed then add OM Everyday Leave In Conditioner
Shingled in OM Shape Shifter & Just Gel

Hair wasnt dry this morning so smoothed back into 2 bunned ponytails.

First impression products didnt wow me, however this morning my hair is soft

I left them in overnight sleeping wasn't too bad but I can sleep with rollers no prob.

Puffing it today, I'm so done with this style, how do ppl maintain this crap. Never again!

I applied a deep conditioning hair mask made of mostly avocado, some mayo and a few teaspoons of honey for two hours. After I rinsed thoroughly and detangled (with minimal breakage which is not normal for me) my hair was super soft and moisturized, and my curls were popping I didn't even have to put in a leave in conditioner! I just applied a little oil to my hair and ends to seal in the moisture.

Since I'm doing a growth challenge with some other curlies on this site I put it in 16 or so braids for protective styling. But now I'm totally tempted to take it out tomorrow to flaunt my shiny curls.

Must. Keep Hands. Off. Hair.

Gel: ORS Twist & Lock

Flat twists in front, two strange twists in back. I stretched and pinned them down. Will do twist out in morning.

Wednesay night I prepood with Vatika Frosting , then used As I am naturally Cleansing Pudding to wash, then conditioned with CJ Daily Smoothing Conditioner, rinsed add CJ Smoothing Lotion as a leave in , then smoothed in Xtreme styling gel with a little Vianaturals gel on top.

Thursday smoothed a little J Smoothing lotion over it and went about my business


Friday used a little KBB Hair milk and then sealed with Oyins BSP and put into two low ponytails!. Hair was frizzy but soft and cushy feeling.

Last night feel asleep without my bonnet, might wash again today.

Poo: Mud Wash mixed with plant poo, AOHSR, Avocado Oil, Fengreek. Left that on for like 30 mins, Worked like a charm. Detangled with my HS mini Jumbo Rake.
Set my hair in braids for a braid out.

Put my hair in three braids last night.

This morning unraveled and fluffed using Purabody Naturals Sapote lotion and Jelly Beary Buttery Hair Treat.
