I shampoo'd yesterday w/ shea moisture moisture retention shampoo and did a deep treatment for 30 min. Then I used the restorative conditioner as a LI. I let it fro up and woke up this a.m. to cowash and style in bantu knots for a knot out. Used shea moisture smoothie on the hair shaft and souffle on the ends. Sprayed with coconut & hibiscus mist to finish. Looks okay but I can't wait to take them down. This is my first attempt at a bantu knot out. Drying is taking forever.

Had the urge to do my first Cassia treatment @ 11:00 tonight. LOL
My hair feels nothing short of amazing even though it's not dry yet. My hair felt so smooth during the rinse out. Putting conditioner in made my hair feel more like silk (VO5 Vanilla Mint for help with the rinse and AO Olive & Grapeseed for my moisturizing conditioner). I think Cassia will become a permanent part of my hair regimen.
I'm air-drying right now with just leave in. I'll cowash again in the morning for a wash and go.

After church I washed and detangled with a suave coconut and trader joe mix to use up the last of bits in the shower.
Now I have the last of some Silicon Mix Proteina de perla conditioner on my hair with a plastic cap. I'll wash it out in 2 hours (low porosity sucks) and get it ready for bed and a WnG tomorrow.

Poo with Bobeam HHGT bar
PT with SSI Okra Hair Recon
DC with KBB LL
left that in..
twisted with Kuza indian hemp hair grease. Used Hicks edges to smooth the roots.
Hmmm.. we'll see. This doesn't look too bad right now.

Here's the result of the braids, using glance water wave hair. I ran out hair, went on a man hunt looking for more, didn't find any, had to untie about 50 pieces to fill in the front but all in all I like it. I plan to keep these in for 3-4 weeks. BTW QB CTDG is BOSS!

Day 2 of wash and go with Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue cream. Curls are still shiny and soft. Hmm. I may have to get a regular size of this.

Did an overnight coconut oil treatment, got up EARLY this am and went to a spinning class, came home and let it sit in for a few more hrs, water rinsed out in the shower, then washed my hair w/SM moisture retention shampoo, detangled w/Suave almond & shea butter condish & grapeseed oil & let sit for ab 20 mins, rinsed, & then put my hair into bantu knots all over w/my whipped shea butter.

Did another braidout. My hair is flippin' huge! I have gotten compliments on it from people other than my husband (who always compliments my hair LoL) so I'd say it must look good. Tonight I will wash, dc, and then braid it up again! I was thinking of doing some small braids as a protective style. Still on the fence about it.
