Since my fro is flat on one side, I reverted to flat twists for a twistout tomorrow. Been messing with my hair since 8:30pm Looks like I will be under my dryer till 11pm.

lol I lurve HEHH man Imma go back and get the big bottle from costco. It kicked MJ SSB arse. I gotta go get AM 3MM next. However this MJ BBC is crap. Doesn't work for me as a moisturizer or styler. My hair was dry after I used it both in a WnG and for a TO.

1 outta 2 isnt bad. I'm not porous, so the BBC works well for me as a moisturizer.

Yesterday...
Shampooed with Dove Oil Therapy Shampoo, conditioned with Shea Moisture Purification Mask (I like it better as a DC, and not a pre-poo), and braided with Born Organic Shea Aloe Thick and Creamy Moisturizer.
I'll unbraid for a braidout tomorrow.

I did a whole lot to my hair today lol
Burdock root , ACV and Bentonite Clay Mask , rinsed after 2 hours, Applied a light protein, used CJ Argan Conditioner, then Beauticurls Leave in conditioner, then CJ Pattern Pusha
Sat here for about an hour mad that my hair was soaking wet( even with plopping)
Hopped in the shower, rinsed it out , used CJ Daily Fix , added CJ Smoothing Lotion, CAG, Hairveda Almond Glaze to seal, then Eco styler blue gel and bunned. Twisted the bangs with the Almond Glaze

Yet another failed attempt at a twist out. I can never get the back to look right and the sides only look good for about a hour or so... *shrug* pretty sure it'll be in a bun tomorrow!

Are you twisting while it's wet? You might have different textures in your hair. I have this patch in the middle that never looks as nice as the rest of my hair, it doesn't like being defined.
Today I'm going to untwist my old twist out and hide most of it under a knit cap because I'm traveling.

I'm ab to apply coconut oil to dry hair for an overnight DT, cover w/a processing cap and my scarf and then tomorrow I will water rinse, co-wash w/Suave, condition and detangle, do an acv rinse and then put my hair into bantu knots w/my whipped shea butter.
I will also DT my child's hair w/coconut oil, co-wash and detangle and apply some whipped shea butter.

I've been on this journey for almost a yr and a half now and I'm finally getting why everyone kept saying to take pics! Believe me I remember how much of a hot damn mess my relaxed hair was when I started this healthy hair journey but it would have been nice to have pics to look back on and compare my now fully natural and healthy hair to!
Either way after doing my routine today I snapped my first fully natural pics. They aren't the clearest but I'm sure I'll get better at taking them as I go along.
The first 2 are of my hair when I was starting to take my hair down from my weekly protective style before doing anything at all (Pics 1 & 2)
The next are of my hair after I had done my overnight DT w/coconut oil and was getting ready to wash (Pics 3 & 4)
The last is of my wet hair after I had just co-washed and was getting ready to condition and detangle (Pic 5)

I re-styled a failed twist out.  I did small-ish two-strand twists with SM Deep Treatment Masque and castor oil (ends only). It looks really good.

Ive been wearing a blow out for the last three days and I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. MY HAIR IS BIG JUST HOW I LIKE IT!! I used Keracare Creme Press and Moisturize lightly every night with Qhemets BRBC. I do a couple twists every night as well. I think this style is definitely a hit for me!!
