I finally figured it out.

I have to touch every curl to really get the definition I want. I have been using SM raw shea restorative conditioner as an LI and using the "leave no curl unturned" technique with great success. I finally can do a wash n go that works.

*sigh* my hair is usually really soft after rinsing out the dc(olive oil & honey) but not today...I should have just used shampoo instead of the "cleansing" cream.
-rinse out
gvp conditioning balm
-moisturizer/leave in
CJ SL & QB BRBC
hair still not soft
hair was already in twists so...the end.lol

*Washed with NBD Black Soap
*Conditioned with Mop Top Daily conditioner

Styling:
*AOMM for curl boosting
*Knot Today with oil all over/ CJ Beauticurls mixed with AV Totally Twisted on my ends

My hair is plenty soft and moisturized since I straightened it but my curls are diffused. I need my clumps back!!

Tried to do some urban twist... That was a fail so I put in some crotchets with individuals in the front. I hope to wear this for a month or so.

Dyed my hair black.
Back in August I tried to dye my hair red. The color I chose was cool for about a week, but I ended up hating it. It was more of a brassy-brown than red. And then when my much darker roots began to show...

I just couldn't stand the thought of letting my natural color grow back with that horrid dye job still visible. So I just dyed my hair a color closer to my natural color. The dye is a bit darker, but that's okay. I am back to loving my hair again!

Excuse my face.
I've gotten lazy in my old age.
This is an ancient wash and go using the Kinky-Curly products. I think I washed my hair on Wed or Thursday. I've been wearing it up since yesterday.

And, yeah, I'll go to class like this.

Washed my hair with Phytospecific deep restructuring shampoo. Love this stuff. Very moisturizing.

Deep conditioned with MJ RR. Twisted with MJ daily conditioner and BBC.

I am loving the MJ BBC

I'll rinse and twist it up....not sure with what.

Used B.A.S.K. Silk Latte Hair Milk as a leave-in, and twisted with the Sevenfold Butter Blend, and Claudie's Hair Gel.

I like Urban Twists. I was thinking about making an appointment at Damn Salon in Atlanta, while I'm in town for the WNHS. But their styling is a bit too "wild" for work. I'm sure they can tone it down.

Anybody feel like diagnosing my hair type? I think its like a 4a and 4b in back. Should I do it with wet or dry hair? These pics are my hair post wash, with conditioner still in... Just let me know what you think.

Unraveled my twists and pulled it up into a high, texture-y puff with pinned up bangs. Added a little oil & moisturizer to the scalp.

I actually prefer it as a daily moisturizing lotion. I can't honestly say how I felt about the level of slip. I was tired, and my hair doesn't tangle too bad when I wash, because of my technique.

But as a moisturizing hair lotion? I love it.

Big Chopped last week so I'm still experimenting with my hair products to see which ones work best together.

Today I Co-washed with Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture. I towel blot my hair and added some Giovanni Direct Leave in, then some Ecostyler gel (argan oil). At first my hair was white. I guess the GDLI had not been absorbed by my hair yet. So I put my steaming cap on for a couple of minutes and bam! My TWA was transformed. #washandgo

Congrats on your BC! I BC'd a little over a month ago and am experimenting to make sure my reggie still works for my all natural hair. So far so good but good luck in your product search and I'm glad to see your hair turned out well!
