Just the mention of the Luscious Amber scent of the DB leave-in has me planning. I am gonna wash and dc so I can set my hair with it tonight...I'ma be swinging my head left and right tomorrow tryna catch a whiff!

Detangled like mad because I was in a rush and put it in a wet bun w gel and coconut oil. My hair came out GORGEOUS!

I cowashed with TN(old) and finger detangled out of the shower, then applied some HETT gel(old). I put it in a low bun to airdry, then halfway I decided to let it down to dry... this post is important for me because its the first time in a long time that my hair actually dried 'down' without "over-producting" it which I think is a result of my hair staying wet for much longer, probably because I usually don't seal with anything. unfortunately the HETT gel will run out once it runs out because I have a very old bottle (nobody liked it when we bought it).

I need to find a different gel to seal in moisture. I just hate 'sticky' gels and gels that aren't sticky are very hard to find.

Cowash with TN then rinsed out with VO 5. Ran out of fsg while twisting so finished up with Smooth and Shine activator gel. Curious to see how glycerine vs. no glycerine does.

Decided to try out my LUSH caca rouge henna today. I just finished applying it (co-washed with tresseme naturals condish prior to) and it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be! Just waiting for a few hours before I rinse it out. I can't waaaait.

Did a bantu knot out and it isnt completely horrible but i dont like it. I seem to have mastered the twist out and braid out but bantu is always a fail. My hair dries then sticks out awkward.

Yesterday I cowashed with vo5 and used TW protective mist bodifier Kimmay style. Used Cantu coconut curl cream as a styler for a 12 braid braidout. Took braids out today and my hair is big with definition mainly towards the ends like I took the braids out while my hair was damp but I like it. It's super soft so I think this makes a better moisturizer than styler. I wonder if this one will mix well with gel...

Ladies I need a conditioner recommendation that is protein free and very moisturizing, no tresemme it does moisturize my hair enough and if possible silicone free too. I'm having issue finding a DT on ground without paying for shipping!! Does anyone recommend biolage? Thanks

Here are the results from my experimental twist curlformer out. I like it. It was my best cf results and the easiest and the quickest. Im a twist machine because I do it so much. Whole head in like 45 min. I would take a section down, do 5 or 6 twist then slide on cf easily as long as i made sure i was on the hook cleanly. I used way fewer cf than i usual for my dense hair. Got under dryer 20 minutes then went to bed. I used to think I couldnt sleep in cf but now I know it was bc I had too many in and they were not flexible bc of that. I had no prob sleeping last night. I got amazing elongation and head my head up side down to lightly pulled to get lift in crown. It is shiny but slighltygreasy but that is my bad. The only thing Im not crazy about is the bang but a bobby pin should fix that. Anyway a keeper!!!
