So... 4a/b's What did you do to your hair today?

Here are the results from my experimental twist curlformer out. I like it. It was my best cf results and the easiest and the quickest. Im a twist machine because I do it so much. Whole head in like 45 min. I would take a section down, do 5 or 6 twist then slide on cf easily as long as i made sure i was on the hook cleanly. I used way fewer cf than i usual for my dense hair. Got under dryer 20 minutes then went to bed. I used to think I couldnt sleep in cf but now I know it was bc I had too many in and they were not flexible bc of that. I had no prob sleeping last night. I got amazing elongation and head my head up side down to lightly pulled to get lift in crown. It is shiny but slighltygreasy but that is my bad. The only thing Im not crazy about is the bang but a bobby pin should fix that. Anyway a keeper!!!

Beautiful style, adthomas

I couldn't so anything with my hair today, it was so nappy.. I tried to run my fingers through it and I got stuck near the ends so I just pulled it back into a bun for church. There are so many naturals there now, I don't feel bad about it anymore. I often stare at the back of someones head like woahhh I thought I had tangles... I couldn't imagine handling a tangle in some other people's type of hair

huh I wasn't done typing.. my curls are small but it really wasn't until I experienced seeing other people's hair close up that a lot of people have TINY curls! I like to see the type of kinky hair that doesn't curl/coil though, I think it might be more managable than curls.. curls knot up horribly

Did you spritz your hair before running your fingers through? I find for me a little water makes a big difference. Also I used to think certain curl patterns were easier than others but it is not true. My friend who is like 2c has just as much trouble if not more with detangling. For me preventing tangles helps a lot so Im careful when shampooing and dont let my hair dry instretched.

I was in a rush so i kinda neutrogena-splashed from the sink and tried to stretch it out, which usually works but I hadn't used my usual leave-in products yesterday so it was tangly. I've been trying to learn how to dry unstretched, hoping to train my hair to curl on itself properly.
Thanks ceredipity, I will try that but any other suggestion? What do u use for your hair even if I have to pay for shipping

DC'd with SS Caitlin's Conditioner overnight (love this stuff!), then before rising it out in the morning I added some Tresseme Naturals condish to make the detangling process easier. Rinsed it out, applied my BASK Palm Tapioca, and sealed with the BASK Java Bean and Honey. I was going to do twists today, but I've got errands to run before my guests arrive for a week in a few days. I'll probably cowash and twist tomorrow.
