So my mom has been on this skin care kick for the past couple of months. Trying everythang she can... Tell me why I caught her using Dr. Hauschka's Lavender Bath Oil as handwash. WHATTTTTTT! She said the scent was too much...

You know I had to rescue it! I used that baby to cowash/rinse my hair, focusing on my scalp. Felt better than an oil rinse, no overly oily after feel and my scalp was happy. Then twisted with Oyin Whipped Pudding, nice!

[Last Night]
Shampooed [scalp] with Bobeam Honey & Oatmeal Bar, then slapped some v05 shea cashmere on top [on ends] and lathered that all together.
Conditioned with Curly Q coconut dream
Added CJ Honey Butta LI, spritzed aloe juice on top then sealed with Almond Glow (nice, this might become my new hair oil)
twisted majority of my hair and braided the crown/set ends on perm rods

I have barely done anything to my hair this week. I washed Monday and left the twists in till Friday. No bueno. My hair was super dry and the ends started to tangle for lack of sealing. I thought maybe a ps would allow me to go longer without washing but no. My hair needs to be washed at least every third day.

Cut off about 4 inches and did a wash and go. I don't know why I waited so late to do this, but my hair looks so much better now.

I like it. Matter of fact, I think like it better than her soapnut poo bard. I still prefer Bobeam.

After rinsing out my DC (Vatika Naturals Intense Nourishment Hot Oil Treatment), I sectioned my hair, misted each section with Amazing Botanicals Aloe Mint Spray, followed with the Honey Condish as a leave-in, and braided with the Hibiscus Gel - for a braidout tomorrow.

I'm on a mission to retain length and reduce damage so I've been dc'ing weekly for the past three weeks with excellent results. Each week my hair improves.

This routine was done sunday:

Pre-poo - hot oil (raw castor) and yes to cucumbers conditioner (old formula) to soften and detangle my hair.

wash - SheaMoisture Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo (latherered once)

deep conditioned - Shea Moisture Deep Moisture Masque mixed with Aubrey Organics Swimmer's Conditioner. I was using what was left so I mixed the two together and had amazing results! My hair was SO soft after I rinsed out the conditioner.

ACV rinse - about a table spoon (or two, can't remember) of raw ACV w/ a cup of water poured over my hair after I rinsed out the conditioner. I did not rinse out the ACV

Moisture/style - applied Shea Moisture curling souffle to wet hair and twisted.

It's been two days since I washed my hair and it is still ridiculously soft!!!

Today is a twist out and I usually am not a fan of first day hair bc it's not as big but I like it.

Shower steam refreshed yesterday's wash and go, spritzed with Aloe & Honey Haze (because it didn't feel moisturised enough after the quick shower) and topped with BASK S&HL. Felt a bit dry, but magically softened throughout the day. How it do that?

Co-washed with CJDF
rinse out with Sally's Argan oil moisturizing conditioner
Did something different and sprayed my hair with ACV and water, then put Sweet detangling milk on it.
Detangled and twisted in big sections. Waited for my hair to dry somewhat and THEN used Cush Cosmetics Buriti butter to twist hair.

Hoping this helps to make styling products work on my hair as lately nothing has been working.

I undo twists, spritz with my mix and seal with my shea butter mix and twist up..... Throw on the scarf and bonnet and that is it for the night.
