I did an Amla treatment today. I have been lazy with my Ayurvedic lately. I had forgotten how much my hair loves it. Makes my hair feel soo good, shiny too.

I washed and conditioned my hair with Curl Junkie Daily Fix Cleansing Hair Conditioner and Curl Assurance Smoothing Conditioner. Then applied KCKT with my oil mix and QB's Aethiopika Hydrate and Twist Butter for my braid out.

Last night I used a strong clarifying shampoo that I'm trying to use up. Dc. Twisted. Put my twist on curlformers and went to bed. I'm off today and haven't taken them down yet.

I had a revelation today...The only time my braidouts look fabulous is during the Fall/Cooler months. A braidout in the summer for me is a no no. Maybe the humidity in hot weather is too much for them too last.
Practiced two strand flat twists with added hair. I can't wait until I perfect thing whoop whoop!!! I think I did ok for a beginner though

I have a couple of questions because I'm only about two weeks into being natural. I wanted to know how to combat the frizz, how to soften hair, do you style hair every night, how often to wash/co-wash, and how often to deep condition, how to avoid shrinkage. Please Help Me
Check out the naturals on YouTube, they offer great advice and style tutorials for all diff hair types...

I twisted my hair with aloe vera gel and pinned it up. Hopefully I can keep this up for a week I suck at protective styling
