I am trying out Cocoon Curls. I did them last night on soaking wet hair. If I don't like the result I will just do Bantu knots for Christmas.

I finally tried a twist out and loved it!
The only thing that I shouldn't have done was using hair wax for twisting. Now I have a hard time getting it out without a sulfate shampoo.
But nvmnd I'll use a shea butter mix next time.

Had a twist out for a three days, so I'm doing a DC now. Pre-poo'd with TJ Tingle Tree Condish, and washed with Jessicurl Gentle Lather Shampoo. About to rinse out the AO Island Naturals condish and then get to using some products from the Soultanicals line.

Oil rinsed last night with coconut oil. Deep conditioned with deep fix and honey, olive oil and grapeseed oil. Used CJ argan and olive oil daily condish as a leave in. Used camille rose moisture milk as a moisturizer and CJ Honey butter as a styler. I probably wont repurchase the honey butter. My hair was really soft pre-applcation and immediately after applying felt less soft.

Quick wash with Loreal EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner, Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner 15 min under heat cap, Kimmaytube leave in, and then Miss Jessie's Buttercreme. Put in a few plaits and slapped on my scarf.

Have been wearing my hair straight since the 10th. Moisturized with some hair butter today and probably going to wash soon...expecting a couple packages tomorrow. ^_^

Flat Twist updo using a mixture of coconut oil, EVOO, and castor oil. I also used some beeswax to tame my hairline.
I must add that this is my first time doing a flat twist ever, so it's not looking all that proff! 😜

It's really pretty. It's hard to do flat twists on my hair now that it's longer so I admire that you did it. It definitely looks better than what I could do!
How can I say goodbye P.L.G.

Oh no!
ETA: A protein deep treatment followed by a moisturizing deep treatment may get things perked up a bit.
