Curl Junkie Repair Me
ETA: It is moisturizing as well as strengthening. (Though I would still recommend a moisturizing DC after)
Also I keep hearing about Joico K-Pak

I can't believe I have done the same wash day routine for an entire month. This is my 4th week
Using the following methods
Hot oil treatment-proclaim miracle 7 oil
cleansing- acv (week 1 & 3 only) then as I am coconut cowash
DC-nothing but intense repair mask or Ion intense hydration mask
Curlformers & motions foam wrap
Midweek Sealing-nothing but curl sealer
& Twistout
These are my curlfessions

Prepoo'ed and detangled with QB's cocoa detangling ghee. Washed with terressential's lavender garden mud wash. Deep conditioned with curl junkie deep fix and my olive honey mix. Used darcy's botanicals pumpkin seed conditioner as a leave in with a dab of hemp seed oil then braided.

I understand. I have been feeling that way this weekend too. I really don't want to spend that much time on hair.

Washed away 2012 with sulfates!
I rarely use sulfates, but there are two reasons I used them today:
1. 2012 was a bad year for my family, what with Mom's cancer and all. (She's in remission right now. Yay!) So both she and I symbolically "washed away 2012" today Dec 31.
2. My seborrheic dermatitis has been so bad over the last few weeks that the no-poo / low-poos simply aren't cutting it.
I made a mix with sugar, grape seed, tea tree, and neems oils and scrubbed my head with it.
I then used Nizoral (sulfates low on the list) dandruff shampoo, along with Kerastase Nutritive shampoo and rinse-out conditioner. (Kerastase, in my opinion, not worth the exorbitant prices, but I won them through Allure mag.)
For my leave-ins, I used SheaMoisture Curl Smoothie with Kinky-Curly Curling Custard and twirled my curls (à la Tightly-Curly method).
I allowed my hair to air dry and, not only is my head itch-free right now, my shiny curls are happily bouncing around!

Cocoon Curls
Cocoon Curls results. I did them on soaking wet hair with gel so the results were really smooth and shiny. I did them again a few days ago but sans gel and the results were not as nice.

Yeah I wanna try those cocoon curls, they look nice.
Last night i twisted my hair with blended cutie jelly cream and blended beauty curl styling butter on top. Today I took them down and pinned them. They look really nice and feel supple.

Stretching my hair this week
Last night, watered scalp with my Flaxseed Remix Spray, detangled coily ends with Soultanicals Knot Sauce, then dabbed finger in Sheamoisture Souffle gel and twisted with Dr Miracles Soft Hold Creme

Straightened for the first time in over 2 years! Totally spur of the moment, literally took out my twists and straightened the twistout. Only been two days, but after my trim I'm washing on Saturday lol, I miss my curls already.
