I re-braided my hair with my DIY Flax Seed Gel w/ Marshmallow Root that I made today. My hair was super soft and fluffy from the Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Creamy Hair Lotion.

I tried bubble wrap curls. I put them in on wet but not soaking wet shower hair. My hair was dirty and in a soft twist out. I used some gel- pattern pusha and some whipped shea butter. I'm really pleased. The curls are really big and shiny. I rolled my hair under the bubble wrap so there wasn't enough tension to smooth my roots much. I put a few bantu knots on the crown. I was sick of bubble wrap at this point and running out of hair bands lol. My hair has a lot of body and movement.

My hair in twists.
"A life without fame can be a good life, but fame without a life is no life at all." - Clive Davis
My once every 6 months routine.

Clarified my hair with Sally's Hard water shampoo. Too harsh for my hair. Will use as a body wash.

Conditioned with samples of Ojon Rare Blend conditioner. Hair felt stripped after rinsing it out UNTIL I rinsed with cold water. That tells me that I need to rinse out all of my conditioners with cold water from now on...hmmm.

I used the Ojon Rare oil bend on damp hair over the Aunt Jackie's leave-in and twisted my hair to let it dry some before blow drying. Oh my! My hair was so soft when I took the twists out.

Blew dry my hair and it remained soft. Flat ironed with a cone laden styling serum. Trimmed ends. Hair is soft and shiny.

I think I am going to have to break down and get the Ojon Rare blend line. My hair likes and needs cones.
I did a cholesterol treatment tonight and can see a big difference in my hair. Hadnt done one in years. Although i saw the mo I didnt notice cone till in my hair so will be clarifying end of week. Anyway I added lots of evoo to it. Got under dryer with plastic cap. Downside it made my hair tangled like proein tends to do. Protein is my necessary evil. But that goodness it didnt make my hair hard to where it takes weeks to recover. My roots dont look as fuzzy and my hair feels stronger. Less shedding than I had been getting.

I have my twists in a low side bun. Front is separated out for curly bang. Loving it.

I need something new to do to Mt hair. It was in twists. I mixed up some aloe vera gel, coconut, olive, n castor oil, a LITTLE green eco and a spoon of eden bodyworks coconut shea cream for my hair and it makes my hair super soft in twists.

How can I say goodbye P.L.G.

Luv'd my permed hair I just didnt take care of it.
LUVVV my natural hair!!!
I decided to do the loc method again with a different product to try to lessen greasiness. this time for the cream i used SM yucca milk. much better. ive had this bottle in my stash for years and just figured out how to make it work for me by using just a slight bit with conditioner.

I did an oil rinse with that mizani oil and castor oil. Then put some as I am double (something) butter on it and it was great! My hair feels really soft. Especially the ends. And usually my ends are really rough. I'll probably do this every other wash. Also I'll probably not wash (more like rinse) my hair as often because I usually only wet it because it makes my hair pliable. I think my hair will stay moisturized for much longer

Spritz of water. Sealed with olive oil.
Saving up for castor oil~
I'm trying my hardest to stay with this protective styling that I'm doing. It's been two days since I've started my self-imposed protective styling & I'm already like 100% done. A little water, a little olive oil, a little braiding & a whole lotta prayer. My hairs been twisted up in the back & I've braided all of it up into a French braid.

Putting extensions in my hair (by myself and its so hard but I've become better with practice..)
i didn't forget the LOC method. Spritzed my tresses with love (aka 1 part aloe Vera juice and 2 parts water). covered my ends with olive oil and finished of with Shea butter
Well I'm currently in marley twists so I spray my hair with my spritz bottle with my concoction containing: water, taliah waajid great detangler, coconut oil, JBCO, and Qhemet biologics Amla and heavy cream . This keeps my hair still moisturized even though marley hair gets really dry.

Wash Day looks like:

Pre poo: Shea Moisture African black soap purification masque mixed with EVOO. Leave in for 30 minutes
Shampoo: Shea Moisture coconut & hibiscus Curl & Shine shampoo
Protein (as needed): Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi wild ginger keratin intensive treatment
(Leave in for about 10-15 minutes)
Deep condition: Camille Rose Algae Renew Deep Conditioner
Leave in: KKKT, Or Paul Mitchell Curls full circle leave in
Style: Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream
Twist outs: Oyin handmade burnt sugar pomade & 100% pure African shea butter to seal the ends !
(My hair is very coarse so it eats products!)
I actually managed to wash my hair on Sunday! I didn't want to do it & it took me ages with the whole DC before hand, but I did it.
Now, two days later, I've finished my head full of twists & I'm hoping to wear these out till Saturday when I'm gonna let my hair out for a banquet I have to attend.
Since I am doing a PS challenge, I'm trying to limit the days I decide to let my hair out. Maybe four times a month, on Sundays or something like that.
