So... 4a/b's What did you do to your hair today?

Kept it in dry twists today since it snowed and I only went out to dig out my car. Moisturized the ends, and I'll wear a twist out tomorrow. It'll be 7 days since I washed my hair.

washed and conditioned my hair today, then I put it into twists. I have been having problems with build up, even after I do my av rinse. I thing that I might have to get some natural shampoo or start clarifying with baking soda more because castille soap and av are not cutting it right now

I washed with Healing Herbs by Rene Herbal Black Soap Shampoo, conditioned with Phytokarite, and styled with Blended Beauty's Silk Shake and Happy Nappy Styles.

I braided my hair for a Christmas Day braidout. I'm tired of two strand twists.

Getting 2nd BC for my 5 yr anniversary
a HUGE, FLUFFY, DEFINED twist out!! my hair had been in twists for over a week, twisted with kccc and every 2 days or so 2 drops of castor oil on each side. it's ssssooooo perty!!!!
i cannot live without my aviators, my boston terrier, biology and black tights.
soo.. today i just;
co-washed with suave coconut conditioner
-started to do individual two strand twists but decided not to because i'll be straighting on jan 3rd or 4th-
slathered on some unrefined shea butter on each section [ i ended up with 7 ]
and flat twisted my 7 sections so i can take them out for a cute curly holiday style tomorrow!
Wore 3-day hair out this morning, then scrunci puffed to workout. I just finished dry twisting for tomorrow. Happy Christmas!

I added Vatika frosting last night as a pre-poo and wrapped my head up in silk scarf and went to bed. When I woke up this morning, my hair had absorbed all of that oil I will cowash this morning and apply a moisturizer, KCCC and do jumbo twists. After letting it air dry I will let them out later on this evening.

Merry Christmas to all !!!

Favorite combo: Afroveda pur whipped gelly + Kinky-Curly Curling Custard
I did an overnight oiling with vatika oil and tied my hair with a scarf to sleep. This morning when I awoke, my hair had fully absorbed the oil. I left it like that for some hours before washing my hair with Afroveda's Carrot & Rice Bran Shampoo Bar. Then, I applied my ayurvedic treatment of amla, brahmi, maka, fenugreek, neem and coconut milk. I'm experimenting with just using this a deep treatment as opposed to doing a conditioning treatment after.

I'm leaving the ayurvedic treatment for 2 hours then washing out and adding leave in conditioner.

I had a failed braidout attempt, which never happens. The back of my hair holds SO well...the front and sides, not so much so. So, while the back produced a wonderful, defined effect, the front just didn't do right. I should have added more product. Plus, I usually leave the braids in, for at least three days, which also helps. I didn't do that this time.

So, I wet my hair down, with my "concoction" of water, a bit of raw honey, and a bit of all-natural conditioner (in a spray bottle), added a bit of Koils by Nature Nourishing Hair and Body Butter, pulled it back in a puff, and slicked down the edges and top with a bit of Ohm Body's Aloe Hair Gel.

My hair is happy.

I did a baking soda scrub, then a hot oil, deep conditioning treatment, then I put my hair in four braids and put on my silk tie. It's snowing in Chicago, it's been truly a lazy day.

last weekend I cowashed my hair & put it in chunky twists. today I heated up my lil ceramic flat iron, untwisted & ran over the hair about 2xs on medium heat to stretch it not really straigten it since I dont like blow dryers. I applied my lil butter mix & re twisted & put my satin covered foam rollers on the ends. Ill try & post pics tomorrow
Last night I mixed ecostyler gel with Rice Bran Oil and applied to front of hair that was in a bun.

RESULTS: Smooth and soft that withstood to the crazy humidity in the photographer studio
I'm going to do a Honey and EVOO conditioning treatment before I co-wash and get ready to paaar-tay!
