Having a good 2nd day hair day. Yesterday co-washed with Renpure moisturizing condish; conditioned, detangled and left in EO Rose Chamomile, the smoothed a little castor oil over it (1/2 tsp). Blotted/scrunched with Curls Like Us Cloth and raked/smoothed in (lightly) Theraneem Leaf and Aloe Vera Gel.

today: silk scarf under a tie-dye hair wrap

yesterday: applied hair creme mix

Fox's Shea Butter Conditioning Creme (from LHC site)

I did my variation with Daalou Fleur d'Ylang Shea Body Butter, EVOO, unrefined coconut oil and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner.

my hair thanks me profusely.

currently rocking a twist-out. I twisted my hair last night in small to medium sized twists after washing and conditioning. the results were good except for one or two that came out fuzzy at the end. all in all a good hair day.

Happy Birth Day Nicki

I took down the 3 braids I keep my hair in at night(stretch hair for buns) added homemade moisturizer and KMF gel to slick hair back and bun with fake hair thing I made. I am going to try just loosening my ponytail tonight. Hopefully I wont wake up with a headache because of the ponytail. I am getting so lazy lately hummm I wonder what is up with me. The only thing I feel like doing is wash, detangle dc, easiest ps I can find (bun). Hopefully I will see great results from this because I hear so many stories about breakage from bunning all the time. BTW I am switching where my bun is placed everyday (mostly out of pure laziness)

Smile I'm loving not having to do my hair everyday

Kudos to my stylist because for the last 5 weeks I've had so many compliments on my hair. She's helped make my 2nd and 3rd month of being natural a great experience. I've had 3 different hairstyles that has lasted me nearly two weeks. Now my hair is braided up on one side and in the back and the rest is two strand twisted. This morning I put my shea butter, olive oil and tea tree oil concoction on my scalp and throughout my hair to maintain moisture and shine. I love just waking up and shaking out the twists and go. This will be my staple style for the spring/summer.

Misted my hair with some diluted Oyin Juice and Berries, worked in some Afrigenix Kurl Keeper, and finished with Afrigenix Healthy Hair Balm.

For my edges, I messaged in some Healing Herbs by Rene Follicle Root Stimulator (or whatever you call it), and some Christine Gant (Brown Butter Beauty) Healthy Scalp Serum.

Pulled my hair back, in a loose puff, tied on a scarf, and I'm done for the night.

Co-washed with DEEPLY DECADENT MOISTURIZING TREATMENT. A week ago, I deep conditioned with it after I shampooed. Wonderful! Left my hair smooth and soft. Deeply Decadent Moisturizing Treatment will now be in my product rotation.

last night:

Impromptu Search & Destroy & trim with nail scissors.

Conditioned with a mix of

Lady Velvet Instant Repair + Nature's Gate Mandarin Orange & Patchouli + Amla Oil. It smelled really good!

...Foolishly rinsed it out with my hair loose instead of section by section, like I'd sworn to.

... 'Le sigh'ed beaucoup about my shrinkage and snarls

Detangled wet hair for the last time I hope ever..

lost a bunch more that when I dry finger dt'd last week.

Braided, took pix, braided, took pix, length checked, took pix and finished the plaits.

listened to audiobook about hawt vampires. (didn't you know that Paranormal Romance books are great for the scalp circulation..lol!)

today
: silk scarf under sunhat

Last Night Finger detangle hair with butter, washed hair with diluted shampoo, detangle with Star then MP rake and YTC slowly in shower, allow hair to dry under twistie turbie, apply hibicus tea rinse, AOGPB and AOHSR. Use microwave heat cap while I have my mixologist ways Rinsed this morning. Hair felt like BUTTAH

Apply conditiioner, glycerin mix, butter, and unpetro jelly to each section(It seems like alot but I wont touch it again until next weekend). Sit under dryer for 1hr at 40. I will be cornrowing hair into a twisted bun for the week.
