I accidently overloaded on protein this past weekend and my hair was until today.

I used MOP Pear shampoo, Earth Science conditioner, CurlFirends Leave-in, & KCCC. My hair just not dealing with anything more than trace amounts of protein right now.

I may stop by our new LUSH store and check out the henna bars. I'm intrigued....

I oiled my scalp and hair with Vatika oil. In the AM I did a cleansing rinse with Shikaki, Amla, and Brahami. co washed out then used Jessicurl WDT and castor oil in hair and put into a bun. I wonder if I made the cleansing tea strong enough? I put it in the coffee pot beacause I do not have a really fine tea strainer. Maybe next time when I make the tea I will let the herbs sit a while then strain with a stocking.

  • washed with Chagrin Valley Cremesicle
  • Oil rinse with puddles of EVOO, then rinse with hot water
  • Condition with BB Herbal Reconditioner and a little Mop Top and rinsed 80% out
  • Leave-in Burdock cream, then Abba Nourishing
  • Plopped
  • Gelled with Theraneem Leaf & Aloe Vera gel
Really good clumping and hair is soft but defined

Today I just put on some CD Hair Milk. It's really windy in the STL today and cool. Wetting my hair wouldn't be a good idea, so I skipped out on it. Since I did a twist out yesterday, I don't think I really needed to wet, I just ran my hands across my head to spring the twists back to life.

Today I'm going to buy some Suave Condish (Coconut) and I'll try it out sometime over the weekend. I'm running out of my Trader Joe's Tea Tree condish and the Suave is on sale (and in a larger size) at Walgreen's for 2/$3! Score!

- I washed with Come Clean & conditioned with Elucence MBC.

- For my leave-in I mixed Kiehl's with Sheamoisture about 60/40 (it was nice, thick and creamy) and used FOTE/ jojoba oil as my gel. I panicked and didn't think my FOTE gel would be "enough" so I used a little KCCC.

My hair is still damp in the back and I showered at 8:30 this morning. Overall, it feels very soft, mositurized and shiny to boot.

I'm sitting at the computer with a pre-poo. Spritzed a little water, then a quarter-sized puddle of Cheryl's emollient (aloe, jojoba, marshamallow root), followed by Jamaican black castor oil. Smoothed in Pantene R&N hair mask, a little more water, and more castor oil. I'm gettigng ready to co-wash and go shoe shopping.

I used megatek, left it on for a few hours, washed it out, co-washed. Sat under the dryer for a few minutes (it's too cold to airdry) put some whipped curly cream, sealed with coconut oil and put into a bun.

I co-washed with Elucence MB, applied coconut oil and a little shea butter. Brushed back into a bun with my Denman and a little Fantasia IC gel.

Shampooed with KC Come Clean
Rinsed with KBB Nectar
Leave-in KBB Nectar
Ohm Sweet Hair Pudding

Not sure if the SHP and Nectar mix well together. Hair is soft, but not much hold and a bit of frizz. After one use of the SHP, I prefer KCCC.

Will do a second test on Monday with just rinsing and applying the SHP.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering what people thought of it. I do know that some people who didn't like KCCC love the SHP.

Scrunched in a little Set It Free mixed with Qhemet Burdock cream to soften hair, pulled back for 5 minutes, undid and scrunched/fluffed to style. After viewing Kynnib's album I am so tempted to to the twist and curl tonight.

I rinsed with TJ Nourish, used KT as leave in plopped then applied SMSB and KCCC as styler. Then sealed with JC N&S. I noticed that when I apply my sealer ( Butter or Oil) after my styler when my hair is wet then I disturb my curl pattern. So since I love my KCCC so much I will seal with a butter after I apply my leave in of choice. Then scrunch out any crunch when my hair is dry. I played with my AOMM but I didn't do well with the firzz but that could also be because I sealed after applying. Well tonite is wash nite I am planning on a clay treatment followed by a overnite DT.

I think I'm going to have to retire KCCC for the winter. My hair is not playing well with any humectants and agave nectar is one of them. Everything I used in the shower felt great but at the end of the day I was getting single strand knots everywhere and dry patches. Today I...

  • clarified with KC Come Clean
  • conditioned with HairVeda Sitra Nillah
  • used Knot Today and some KBB hair oil as a leave in
  • FOTE as my gel
My hair is soft with no dry patches but I will start bunning more.
