Wet section of hair

Applied mix of cond. and oil (Hello Hyd & EVOO)

Raked & smoothed section with my fingers (yes, i'm hyped on _Curly Like Me_...lol).

Realized that I'm about two years of length away from being cool with the shrinkage that definition brings.

Put hair up in 3 roll thingys (best that I can describe it..mini french rolls?) with plastic tortoiseshell pins.

Reswore off scissors.

I posted about this on Friday night but whatever. I did a braid out using KCCC and Knot Today. It did not hold up for very long but I had great definition.

I had some weird residue in my hair last night (I did add some random stuff to it on Monday don't know why), so I cowashed around my edges back and front with Honey Hemp. Hair was very damp but not dripping .I rebraided with castor oil. Great definition today and it's really soft.

I really think castor oil and water are about to be my holy grail combo.

Washed with ClarpHx clarifying shampoo (no sulfates); conditioned and finger detangled with KBB Lusicous Locks Hair mask, scrunched a little Hairveda Almond Glaze on the ends; cool water rinsed. Leave in, Beauty without Cruelty with a little more Hairveda Almond Glaze on ends, then gelled with Trader Joes Aloe Vera Gel and air dried.

Spritzed ends with my glycerin mix, tucked and rolled. Used my long hair pins I got from Target. They were such a great buy($2 per pack 12). I think I will stop their on the way home tonight to see if they have anymore.

With all this PSing I am getting quite lazy

washed, conditioned with Yes To Tomatoes (got it @ Ross for $4!), added some Cantu leave-in (just wanted to revisit) and shingled in some DM MiraCurls Curling Gelly. I took someone's advice and added some castor oil before the gel and it has really cut down the crunch! Thanks for that tip!

not much. mixed a little EVCO and jojoba oil in my hands and fluffed my three-day old twistout and pinned down my bangs with two bobby pins.
