I did an oil rinse following my amla treatment. The amla left my hair dry but the oil rinse restored some of the moisture. I'm not sure if the castor oil is completely out; my pillowcase and satin bonnet are a bit oily.

I still have my flat twisted mid-front and two strands with perm rods... pulled the rest of the front back because I have an interview today. I was going to do a twist out but then changed my mind because I am not ready to let these twists go yet. Today is only day 7 of my twists and I would like to color (Black) and retwist over the weekend.

Curled it because i got a blow out yesterday. seems a little puffy because it's so humid in GA, but it's cool. I'll enjoy semi-str8 hair for a while.

Last night I rebraided with some Burdock Root Butter Cream and sealed with castor oil. Wore it out except I did a messy sideways french braid along the front of my hair.

Been dying to wash/water it. Cowashed with GVP Biolage conditioning balm, Conditioned/detangled with Mop Top Conditioner and left it all in to style. Scrunched a mix of Devacurl Set up and Above + Hairveda Almond Glaze on the ends and gelled with Aloe Vera gel. Blotted with Curls like us Cloth and spot gelled as needed with Devacurl Angel. Air dried.

Moisturized with Water + Aloe Vera Gel then added Alba Botanica Leave In + Vatika Oil onto my dreads. Soft and mositurized all day.

Did ditto thing for my daughters' & son's hair. Their curls popped. Decided to put my girls hair up in a loose curly buns during the day and loose bantu knots for bedtime.

Tomorrow will spritz my hair and apply dime sized amount of oil on the ends and that's it!

Will do ditto thing for my son but add tiny bit of AOMM gel to his curls.

Will give my daughters two banded ponytails with the ends braided after spritzing their hair.

finger detangled on dry hair then under running water. cleansed my scalp with heavily diluted dr. bronner's baby mild castille soap; My scalp really needed this shampoo.
My hair is feeling really moisturized with just the shampoo but I'll attribute that to the gallon of castor oil that was still in my hair from the failed oil rinse.
Next i'll do another amla treatment, rinse, apply my leave-in, and seal.

Yesterday I was working in some AO jojoba&aloe desert herb condioner & mozeke carrot protein mask for a light protein treatment when my friend called and said let's take the kids out.

Rinsed the front out because that's as far as I made it, then cowashed with HEHH, rinsed it out , applied Ohm
body aloe gel and botanical spirits magic curl purée. Shook my head and went on my way.

This morning my hair was really soft but slightly tangled. So I used QB CT detangling ghee and twisted the front after detangling.

The back is a tucked ponytail.

Default Henna + Steamer = Lovely Hair

Ok Curlies, so I co-washed with Suave soothing lavender conditioner and detangled with TJ Nourish Spa. Then I did a henna/Ayervedic herb/Silk Peptide mixture and sat under my steamer for 1 hour. Rinsed and co-washed again with Suave Lavender conditioner until it was clean and free of the henna mix. I now have a Dt mixture of AOGPB, AOWC, and Eluecence and I am sitting under my steamer for the next 1/2 hour. I plan on braiding it up and continuing with my Bunning routine for the week.

last night i snipped the rest of the relaxed ends off. my fro is definitely fluffier than it usualy is. There wasn't much to cut off but it made a huge different in the way my hair felt and hung. Now it shrinks up even more.

Last night I cowashed with Curly Qs Coconut Dream condish and used it as my leave-in, added some Qhemet BRBC on top...this morning I woke up and Izzy was so soft I just refreshed her with a spray blend of water, aloe, Oyin Honey Hemp & CoCasta oil.

I'm thinking I'm going to start refreshing with a spray bottle more...no need to soak my hair again every day.
