thank you!! omg, I wish it were true. I'm trying to get it together tho.
I was looking at wigsites earlier today!! I've never worn one seriously (only neon and bright afro wigs for costume & Halloween.)
I'm trying to act on my hair boredom in a different way.

Sprayed it with water, raked some EcoStlyer Olive Oil Gel in, then sealed with Koils By Nature Watermelon Hair and Body Butter, and I am having a great curly fro day. I dragged out the EcoStyler on a whim, but I am now re-visiting it. Nice hold, no crunch!

Need to finish up but had a spa like day today, which I hadn't done in ages. Hot oil treatment, shampooed with Kinky Curly Come Clean, Protein Treatment with Hairveda MethiSativa System, deep condition (which is still in at the moment) and still trying to decide how I want to style it.

I cut between 3-4 inches off. Looks and feels better. I was back at waist-length before snipping off some of my older/raggedy ends.
Plan on attempting a Corinne Baily Rae-ish 'do tomorrow.

pretreated with coconut oil and aveda hair elixir, dyed hair caramel brown, protein treatment in now. My ends were a bit unhappy and I noticed some breakage, so a deep moisturizing treatment will follow.

1. Applied Vatika Oil and Sweet Almond oil to my hair, moderately detangled, and added Afroveda's Nu Milk Neroli Goat Milk conditioner as a prepoo.
2. Shampooed with Giovanni 50:50
3. Added a mixture of EO Sweet Orange and Giovanni 50:50 conditioner, detangled with a comb in sections and rinsed
4. Applied amla/brami mix for 30 minutes
5. Rinsed and cowashed with the remaining conditioner mix.
6. Used Curl Junkie Deep Fix for a DC, sat under the dryer for 45 minutes or so, and rinsed
7. Final "tea" rinse (hibiscus, green tea, marshmallow, nettle)
8. Sprayed my hair with cold water and EVOO mixture and applied A LOT of ecostyler in sections as per MopTop Maven ( http://moptopmaven.blogspot.com/2010...-tutorial.html)
Pics are attached, this was my 2nd wash and go attempt. I think it came out well. This is about 2 hours after applying the gel, it did dry very crunchy. I am day 3, it's not as elongated but I am happy with how it looks.

I slathered my hair with macadamia nut butter, then co-washed. Then I added Softee activator gel and finshed with some Let's Jam.

I rinsed my hair this morning (trying to wet it everyday. I like how my hair has been feeling since I'm moisturizing with water everyday) and then I applied some shea-aloe. Hair was still damp when I got my mail (Koils by Nature package! ) so I applied the Koils by Nature leave in conditioner and the hair butter on top of that. Talk about softness. I feel a routine coming on. I'm gonna definitely be reupping on the KBN shea leave in conditioner

I am wearing two strand twists. Although, I flat ironed a month ago and some strands are straight so I put them on rods last night and took them out this morning. I sprayed my hair with Herbal Conditioning Mist and Hair Gloss by Earth's Nectar. Before bed, I spray with Nourish put on a satin cap and go to sleep. I will workout tonight and tomorrow and do the same.

Jill Scott Inspired Style
Today I am on day four of sporting my Jill Scott Inspired style. I have the left side corn rowed and I am wearing a twist out on the right side.
You can checkout how I maintain it at my blog.
