Kept my Devachan (NY) hair appointment. Julie trimmed and shaped my hair and put in my color. Melanie washed and conditioned. They then showed me how to style. I told them I did not want any gel in my hair as I dont use gel and they showed me how to style with the conditioner. Then under the dryer and voila.
Wash out dt then did a little ponytail with Shea butter..

MY HAIR FOTKI

Good twist and curl results:

-Clay hair mask on dry dirty hair
-Blended Beauty Herbal Reconditioner
-Karen's Body Beautiful hair cream on ends
-Abba Nourishing
-A little bit of Mop Top conditioner
-Theraneem Leaf & Aloe vera gel

Twisted in 18-19 twists, rubbed ends with Shea butter and curled them on foam rollers. Dried while I slept. Hair feels and looks great today; smooth, soft twist out.

Weelll, last night i deep conditioned, put in my Tresemme conditioner as a leave-in, set my hair with shea butter and styled for a curly fro. It's still tied down in a satin scarf.

Last nite Idid a Cassia treatment followed by a DT of Lustrasilk mango, melted shea butter, vatika oil, and rosewater and glycerin. Rinsed then put hair in 14 big twists using KBB Hair Milk and Qhemets burdock root as a leave in, sealed with the Qhemets AOHC, and twisted with SMSB leave in and KCCC. Today I am wearing a hat with my twists still in. I am hitting the road tonite.

I tried out my new Lush Jasmin and Henna pre-poo. It felt good going on and I love the smell of jasmine.

I shampooed with Mastey Traite and conditioned with L'Oreal Hydra Gloss. KCKT w/KBB oil was my leave-in followed my Thermasilk gel.

I still smell like jasmine.
4a/b Texlaxed hair w/ highlights. Medium texture & high porosity.

Cleansed hair with 2 GVP Biolage Matrix Rinses
Detangle rinseout with Curl Junki Hibiscus/Banana deep fix
Pumpkin seed butter on ends
Abba Nourishing leave-in
Plopped for 15 minutes
Donna Marie Jelly mixed with KCCC
Diffused dry.

I'm going to attempt a twist out on my dry hair. I've always done it on my hair wet. My hair is pretty soft today. I co-washed and left a bit of the condish in and sealed my ends with jojoba oil. Hopefully I won't look wretched in the morning lol.
After exercise, spritzed my hair with water and put in a dollop of Megatek for 5 minutes. Co-washed with TIGI Moisture Maniac. Detangled with a combination of KCKT and castor oil. Added a small bit of Qhemet AOHC and Komaza Coconut Hair Pudding and twisted my hair. Put the shea butter on my face.
I started my twist-out then stopped...there was no way I would get done in 2 hours at the rate I was going and I had to get to bed. I'll try another time.
As of yesterday, I've been wearing my hair in a puff with different headbands. I will be wearing this style until it's time for me to shampoo. After that, I think I'm going to try the curly afro style.

Night before last I twist and curled and the result was not good.

Washed with Chagrin Valley
DT with Blended Beauty herbal reconditioner
Donna Marie Coco Hemp hair butter cream on ends
Abba Nourishin as leave-in (great mixing with the coco hemp)
Donna Marie Aloe and Honey jelly and twisted

Twist out was frizzy; I had to bun it.

I flatironed it myself yesterday and it came out pretty well. The crown is a little frizzy because I couldn't get to it fast enough while I was blowing my hair dry. That area air dried and I tried to smooth it by using the comb attachment to my drier, but that section still wouldn't straighten out. The flat iron was no match for it either.

I set it on rollers last night and put it in a messy, retro updo this morning. I was lookin cute.

Then the wind hit it.

So much for being cute...

I wore my flat twist out today. Looooooved it! Suave Humectant Conditioner, blow dry with Tresemme, 4 sections, 3 flat twists in each section, wrapped and slept over night for at least 18 hours haha.

Today, I rinsed my hair under the shower and left in some conditioner. That's it.

I love my regimen...it's so simple.
I did some twist yesterday.

Oil rinsed with olive oil
Cowashed with Hairveda 24/7 conditioner
Small amount of Abba Nourishing leave in
Twisted with Hairveda Almond Glaze under Whipped Green Tea Herbal butter

It was pretty greasy yesterday. I think I went too heavy on the glaze, but it's ok now.

Here's the pic

I was up a little early today since I fell asleep about an hour into the new year

I wore my hair in a curly fro last night so I decided to do some lazy twists.

Used a cup of water to sprinkle in and loosen up the curls a bit while I parted.
Finger parted my hair into four parts and used GF Sleek and Shine leave in along with Hollywood Beauty Tea Tree Oil for moisture and just twisted away.

My hair doesn't look like it's soft (probably because I did it while a little more than 70 percent dry) But it feels great and I love the natural almost dread like look it has (I'm terrified of dreading my hair! lol)

I'm so glad I'm starting off the year feeling great about being a natural curly. It's going to be an amazing year!
Confusion in the front/4a in the back and around the sides
Transitioning Natural since March 2005
Complete natural (Last of permed hair trimmed out) May 2008 (1 1/2 inches left)

Regimen:
Co-Wash: (Anything on hand atm)
Leave ins: Aussie Moist
Shampoo: Aussie Moist (only if I end up using gel or something out of the ordinary)
Keeping it krazy simple

10 am this morning I co-washed my hair with Oyin's Honey Hemp Conditioner and did a ACV rinse. I then applied Kbb hair milk (coco-mango of course ) followed by kinky curly. To break up the crunch factor I applied knot today on top. It's is now after 12 and my hair is 95% dry and I plan on refreshing this get up for a week.

I'm re-twisting and curling:

Cleansed with GVP Biolage Matrix balm
Conditioned and detangled with TooShea
Used Theraneem leaf and oil cream to butter ends (it's not designed for hair)
Donna Marie Ultimate Slip Detanger and Donna Marie Lock and Twist cream. Crossing my fingers. My last T&C was a hot frizzy mess
