i just detangled and washed..

now i'm dc'ing under a hooded dryer.

this is the first time i've done this with my natural hair. haha...i've been natural 5 years now. the dryer was just delivered to me today.

(it's a babyliss ionic rollabout blah blah blah or whatever it's called)

bought from sallybeauty.com ($79.99 - with tax and shipping the order came to over $100)

hoping i see a positive difference in the DC results.

Last night mixed up Brahmi with fenugreek and a little water. Applied paste to my box braids for 20 minutes.

Rinsed out then cowashed with As I am Naturally Coconut Cowash, applied Henna Sooqs Cocoveda oil as a leave in , then La Boutique de Fleurtzy Curl Nurture Cream and Hydrating Butter to seal.
my link isn't going thru...
*Cleanse: BoBeam, Giovanni Tea-Tree
*Rinse Cond: Herbal Essence HH
*Deep Cond: Deity America (green tub), CRN Algae Hair Mask
*Leave-in's: Soultanicals, Pura Body Naturals, Alikay Naturals Lemon-grass spritz
*Twisting: Obia Naturals TWB, PBN Cupuacu Butter, Camille Rose

undid my two strand twists, used olive oil on the ends which made untwisting hella easy.
Last night applied La boutique de Fleurtzys Conditioning Treatment to my box braids, braided my braids, covered it with my satin cap.

This morning rinsed and added Hairvedas Avosoya oil.
Misted my twists with HHBR Herbal Hair Mist, followed with a bit of As I Am Naturally Double Butter Cream.

Flat ironed my hair with my new croc infared flat iron. It made my hair dry and straw like. Worst flat iron I've used on my hair. Sending it back to Overstock.com for a refund. It wouldn't get hot enough unless it was at 420F and I don't have thick hair. I think it is heat defective. Anyway. I don't like my hair straight anymore. Can't wait to do a wash n go.
Ah...to be a well pampered pootiecat. I can sleep on my owner's lap. Roll over on my back when I want my stomach rubbed. Purr with delight. Suddenly jump off and walk away for no reason. Not respond when I am called. Throw my leg up and lick with intense abandon. Sleep 85% of the time. Hang my head off the couch and view the world upside down.

Took down a pineapple, spritzed with water (then I got caught out in the rain anyway ) and added Oyin HD and Oyin BSP to the edges.

Oh, and yea, you have to push the button twice to get the IR. I guess they wanted to give ppl the option of not having it, but I thought that was pretty stupid lol...

My husband bought the iron for me because he doesn't like my hair in twists or curls. He'd be thrilled if I went back to the relaxer. My mother has this thing for long hair and my hair when straight is in the middle of my back. But for me, it's so much easier to wash and twist or shingle. I hated putting heat on my hair. My family has gotten on my nerves about my hair. Ok (breathe) rant over.

The only runner up Ive found to Hello Hydration is Elucence Moisture Balance conditioner

Out of all three i would place the Coconut Cowash third , however I havent used it on loose hair only braided hair so the judgement is still out. I should know a full review by end of month. I usually use a conditioner a month before I make a complete decision.
today i only went out once but i did moisturize my hair w/water, shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie. this is week 2 of a protective style (mini braids). i put on a satin scarf and lazed around the house . tomorrow i'll shampoo and dc....
