Yesterday ~ i rinsed saturday's Eco Olive out in the shower...gently lifting & parting sections as to not tangle too much. was kinda scared cos I usually rinse or cowash in twists or plaits or at least go section my section) ...Retained a bit of coil at the very ends but got a lot shrinkydink action from leaving hair nekkid (no LI, no gel, no oil). ...Bi-nappled overnight (..maybe too tightly ...i think that contributed to my headache this morning haha)

Today
~ wet hair in shower and applied gobs of Lustrasilk Shea Mango Chol. smoothed and brushed into two sections

when out of the shower, i went over it with Eco & made 2 braids (save my dumba@@ 'bangs', yes i'm still kicking myself for cutting those)

a few pix of these changes in my fotki (must be logged in to view?)

I've tied on two cotton-rayon 'scarves' (ex skirt & dress fabric rags... I usually use silk scarves for sleep but the rags are great for damp hair) to absorb some of the the remaining moisture overnight.

Co-washed with CJDF
light conditioned with Botanical spirits Banana peppermint conditioner (miss)
Slathered BB sweet detangling milk to get the comb thru my hair.
Shingled BS soft curls cream and magic curls regular.
My hair is drying. Kind of crunchy but very curly. We'll see if if holds up in the cold weather. I have to go the mall with my elderly mother. Her monthly donation to Macy's Clarins' makeup counter. I could finance my degree on what she spends on cosmetics!!! LOLOL

Last night I detangled my hair with KBB Sweet Ambrosia and twisted with Ohm Sweet Hair Pudding (don't be mad at me sagehen!). Currently in twists - they are really soft and smell like cherries.

Also, I did a video on my twists...it's like 27 minutes and incredibly obnoxious.

Uhh, too late. I am mad. I just had a strange vision of tearing up your Team Wash and Go t-shirt LOL!

I feel like a dang gangster trying to advance the Team Wash and Go agenda by any means necessary. I WILL harrass you online!

Oh, and on topic I just spritzed with Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Moisture Mist and twisted into a french roll and slapped a claw clip in it.

me too. hehehe....i panicked when one of my kids(4 yrs' old at the time, no prior exposure to B&B) had his shirt up like a hood running around giggling and making weird sounds. took me a sec to realize who he reminded me of. ...i tried to explain Cornholio and B&B in general to my husband(not american) and he was like 'waht?'

Off today so I had a Botanical Spirits spa day.
I clarified with BS Sugar Cane shampoo.
Used a little Tresemme conditioner to detangle.
Conditioned with the BS Mud Mask, that I had added coconut milk to as it was half a jar and had hardened a bit. (so messy, mud every where)
Sat under heating cap for 45 minutes.
Rinsed hair and it was so soft. I should have left well enough alone but I conditioned again with the Banana peppermint conditioner.
Rinsed hair and twisted with the Soft curls cream and kinky pudding.

Hair is still wet but feels soft. Now, the jury is still out on the BS banana conditioner. It felt nice going on. It has slip. But when I rinsed it out my hair didn't feel moisturized at all. I used it after the mud mask because it says on her web site that for best results use after mud mask. I'm obedient and I follow directions well. The jury is still out. I'm going to buy a sample of the coconut cream conditioner to see if that is better for my ultra dry hair. Maybe another sample of the banana conditioner and shampoo to see if how it works without the mud mask or as a leave in conditioner.

On another note, I added coconut milk to the stretch gelee and it still made my hair dry!!! What is in that stuff???
