So... 4a/b's What did you do to your hair today?
I know we have a thread like this on the General Curly Board but I thought it would be a good idea to just see what the 4's are doing daily. Not only would it be good for me but newbies and veterans too, especially considering we do more 2nd and 3rd day hair routines, rather than daily washing.
I just:
- washed with MOP Glisten
- conditioned with KCKT and Bumble and Bumble Super Rich
- then using Subbrock's recipe I used Elucence MBC, oil, & veggie glycerin for a leave-in. I used 15 drops of the Wild Growth oil.
I finished with Phytodefrisant to calm down any frizzies. Dry results are pending...
ETA: Finally! Moisturized Elucence results.
What did you do today?

Well I am still new to the hair game so the thing I am trying to do most is trial and error.
Today I bought - Qhemet's Burdock cream and Sheamoisture Leave - in. After one patch test I know both of these knock Giovanni and Anita Grant into a cocked hat for me. Softness on dry hair Can't wait til washday.
Today was an inbetween day for me so I simply misted my hair with a mix of M&S rosemary conditioner and water. I rarely manipulate between wash/co washes.

Today was hair spa day
- A little Hairveda cocasta oil on dry hair to detangle, and then wet it.
- Clay hair mask: Rhassoul clay, water, EVOO, honey, ACV and herbal extracts. 1/2 hour under head cap, then another 1/2 hour, rinsed thoroughly
- Curl Junki Hibiscus Banana deep fix as conditioner for about 10 minutes, with Jamaican castor oil on ends, then showered and rinsed
- A bit more Curl Junkie left in, Qhemet Burdock Butter Cream, a smidge (tsp) of Knot Today to pull it all together, and then plopped for 20 minutes or so.
- Kinky Curly Curling custard. I'm air drying now.

Experimenting.... or revisiting the KCCC, so I didn't do a thing to my hair today! Now, if I can only get it to dry faster!
Normally, I would've rewet my hair in the shower for three-five seconds, raked in Karen's HN or JC WDT and air-dried. That's it!

Today was Spa Day (yea!) so I:
- Cowashed with Sally's Salon Care Honey & Almond Condish
- Deep Conditioned w/ KBB's Luscious Locks Mask for 20 min.
- Applied KCKT & KBB hair Milk as a leave-in. The Knot Today is just begging for oils and some glycerin in my opinion.
- Finished with Phytodefrisant for any frizzies

A little Devacurl Set it free and Qhemet burdock cream mixed together and scrunched into dry hair to fluff and expand my 2nd day bed head.
I have to agree with you. I use it over Jane Carter Nourish & Shine or Qhemet burdock cream and it performs much better (better clumping).

Not much, I rinsed, applied a mix of conditioner, essential oil, and set it free. Then I spritzed a little spray gel before leaving.
Best hair day all week - go figure.

A few hours ago I heated up some coconut oil, EVOO, and honey and put that in my hair. It was pretty messy! I haven't done one of these deep treatments in months. I will probably take it out in an hour.

Hennaed dc, a lil juices & berries, leave in HHC, then moisturized with Oyin whipped pudding mixed with BSP. Twisted with flaxseed gel. My hair is getting to long for me to twist, I'm going to start paying to get it twisted.

I did a T-n-C after rinsing out a DT. libra08 requested a pictorial of the twist-n-curl, so I took lots of pics and plan to put together a slide show tonight!

Undid my satin scarf. Bent from the waist forward, gave my head a good shake back, forth, side to side, and let all my twists flow and fall where they want. Took a shower and let the mist moisten my hair. Got dressed and scrunched in some Wet set hair pudding and then a little Jane Carter Nourish and Shine on my ends.

sort of smooshed some John Masters Organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler on my hair then got in the shower and cupped my hands to wet my hair all over. then applied some a castor oil/jojoba oil blend to my scalp and massaged it in. sort of finger fluffed and let it air dry (as usual).
