Hair rules vs. Kinky Curly??

which do you think works better??

i bought both from rickys (i love nyc. no outrageous shipping for good hair stuff) and i was just wondering which most people prefer.

i tried kccc with kckt and it was great except that it left my hair feeling crispy lol maybe because i put too much in it? im going to keep working with it though to figure out whats best. it also takes forever for my hair to dry.

i have yet to try hair rules kinky curling custard.

never tried hair rules but i loved kinky curly. You can use a hair butter to scrunch the crunch. I use KBB hair butter

I've used both lines and I prefer Kinky Curly to Hair Rules. The hair rules stuff might be ok for occasional use but watch out for the ingredients. It's loaded with mineral oils and the like, which is why it creates such shine. But after a while it can dry you out. The KC line does take forever to dry, but it's better for your hair. You can use a diffuser to speed the process along if you dont mind the heat. Try scrunching your hair if it dries a little too hard. There are some KCCC pros on this board that can prob help with the crunch factor. Try searching for old posts. Good luck!

I've never used hair rules, but I love KCCC.

I have tried both and I prefer KCCC. Hair Rules just sat on my hair and NEVER dried! It was just this white film...it looked disgusting. After trying the product a few times more (and differing application amounts), I decided to ditch it.

It may be that you are putting too much. After applying the KCCC, do you followup with a moisturizer or maybe even a light oil?

I couldn't bring myself to try Hair Rules (the cones) but I love KCCC over a leave-in. Totally reliable.

kccc DOES take FOREVER to dry!!!! omg, i like to air dry and I couldn't take a nap or anything.....never tried hair rules but after a few times with kccc, im a believer. the crunch factor only lasts one day on my hair...after that it's super soft. and hair rules costs too much in my opinion.

Without a doubt KINKY-CURLY!!!!
even though the names sound the same Kinky-Curly Curling Custard is a far superiour product than Hair Rules.

I applied Hair Rules Curly Whip and didn't like the final result. I put some Kinky Curly Curling Custard on top of it and I really like the feel, the look and the final result.
