Afro Detangler

Has any 4b's used this product? I've read about it here at nc but only 4a's gave reviews on it. Is the product just not made for us or what :(?

If you have tried it please tell us your results.

Afro Detangler

My hair has a mixture of hair textures, but, at the back of my hair it is very cottony. [it's cute lol]

Okay, so YES I have used the afro detangler from www.growafrohairlong.com and I loved it. It last me a full 2 years. I don't have any more left. I need to order some but, my sub for the afro detangle would be Kinky-Curly Knot Today, IMO!

Good luck :)

I've been wanting to try it because of the great reviews.

I just got my order a week ago, and I'm obviously wasting it if yours lasted you 2 years. lol. It does, indeed, make my hair soft. It's the best smelling product I've used. However I feel that there are other products that I use that make my hair easier to detangle (I do it in the shower).

But overall I'm quite satisfied.

It lasted me 2 years because I would detangle my hair in 4 sections and use only a dollar coin (Canadian) in my palm for each part. Oh, and plus my hair was not always lefted out. I wore Protective Styles a lot.

Love it!

Very moisturizing! I ordered some in the fall and I still have a half bottle left.

Uhmm...well this product did nada for my straight up from Nigeria hair.
I bought it like 2yrs ago and it's still sitting there. Now I just mix it in with other things in order to use it up. I even sold a few ounces to peeps who didn't wanna purchase the full gallon from the original site without trying it out first.

Hello Sosesm,

I have a question. I purchased this products and I have a gallon. I do not like the product at all. I have 4a hair, which it leaves hard and crunchy. I dont want to throw it out because I spend good money on it. What do you mix it with to make it more moisturizing.

Hey Sosesm,
I suggest using the AfroDetangler w/ KimmayTube's leave-in recipe. I truly believe you'll love it...that's how I've been using mine. Soft soft hair✨

Recipe:
1oz Aloe Vera Juice (2 Tbsp)
Castor Oil (2 tsp)
Jojoba Oil (2 tsp)
1oz Leave-in Conditioner (2 Tbsp)

Yes....I am a "Goal Digger"🎓

I tried this when i first became a natural its a great moisturizer, and it smells great. Also its portion is huge so it last a long time. But thats it. No definition, hold,or shine. People use it under other products.
