I personally fell in love with the califa styling pudding. It is friggin awesome. Its very moisturizing and it has a lengthening quality to it. Like when I put it on my hair it makes my hair hang and swang.lol

If you don't wanna commit to a larger size, I think it's at least worth it to try the samples. Not much risk in that.

Yea it's so hard to get! I was randomly on the Sephora site one night and they had just gotten it back in stock - I had to jump on it.

Decided to give Ayuverdic powders a try. Henna alone is too strong for my hair. Makes me look like I have heat damage. I dont need that. So I brought:

Indigo
Hibiscus Petal Powder
Herbal Henna Powder (mixed in with other herbs)

all from ayurnaturalbeauty.com
Hope I likey

I'm not elle lol, but I have input! I've tried them both. They both smell reallly good. Kind of like a carmely, sugar cookie, buttercream To me they aren't similar in performance because they are supposed to be used in different ways. The cream is a moisturizer and the pudding is a styler that happens to be moisturizing. The pudding can be used like you'd use a gel, as a twisting/braiding agent, etc.

I suppose you could use the cream in that way too but I don't think you'd get extra hold with it alone. I think the cream is hydrating but I definitely need to use a sealer with it.

Maybe I need to clarify or maybe my dews aren't right. I like the cream though and I'm definitely gonna get a larger jar to experiment more with it. The pudding though, I'mma need the 16oz lol

I appreciate your input Coco! I hope I like at least one of them. I don't really need "hold". Lol my hair holds itself. Bwaha!

Lol! I haven't used the Cream but your description sounds right. I always thought it was a moisturizer while the Pudding is more of a curl cream. I LOVE it for wash n gos and can use it alone. LOVE. IT.
