I'm a little confused as to how often I should be using it to see if it's effective. I don't have hair loss, but my hair has damage. From what I understand you can't repair damage, it's best to cut. I'm going to keep using it though. Let me know what you think when you use it.

Yeah...I cut off all my heat damage. My hair wasn't destroyed, but the texture wasn't as kinky and I didn't like that. Protein didn't restore it, so I cut it.
My hair is SO much better...and it wasn't bad before. I'm so glad I cut it. The top left side is shorter, but that's okay. I'm going to let it grow out thru the end of this year. I can trim the back, as the short section catches up.
I'm going to use this shampoo faithfully, and see what it does. I don't have scalp issues, either.

For growth? At least 3 times a week to be on the fast track. Leave it in for 3-5 mins and then rinse. Otherwise, weekly is ok.

Nope...that ain't gonna happen. I don't wash my hair that often (too much for my hair), nor do I manipulate my hair that much, especially since I'm on a grow out journey. I'll use it once a week, with the 5 minute leave-on time. Whatever will come from that will have to do.

Mine is damage from picking out my locs. I plan on trimming as I grow it. Didn't want to drastically cut it in the beginning. I told myself I'd use the plant poo every weekend on my scalp and co-wash or low-poo in the week. A whole lotta writing on the box, but nothing really helpful in terms of directions, lol!
