faves: no fancy products but love unrefined shea, castor & dabur mustard oil; ecostyler blue gel, aloe vera juice (spritz). hair keeps changing so rediscovering again!

FINALLY got Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream. They had a sample at my local store and I didn't think it smelled like paint, so I ordered some.

I really loved the Funk Butter. The Black Cedar is my favorite scent. It worked well at first, but like Naturalista I broke out. I developed a rash and my armpits darkened. It all went away soon as I stopped using it.
I have been using Chagrin Valley Organic Cream Deordrant and had great success. It's mostly the same ingredients as Oyin but the order of them is different. CV has more coconut oil and baking soda is one of the last ingredients. Oyin's first ingredient is baking soda and the coconut oil is in the middle. I have only used the Coconut Silk which doesn't really have a scent. I really want to try one of the scented versions and see if I get the same results.

Yeah most of the reviews I heard mentioned getting some sort of irritation from the funk butter, but then it going away after they stopped using it. I'm hoping my skin isn't sensitive to it. :S

I've been using it for twistouts but I will be using it for a wng this weekend. The Just Gel has a great slip and keeps frizzy's at bay, not sure of the shrinkage though. I will definitely report back.
