I also returned 5 bottles of the Newly formulated Tresemme Naturals Conditioner to Walgreens and exchanged for two jars of Kinky Curly.

The conditioner jacked up my hair, just gonna use the old formula when I see it!

You ladies were right, with the old formula I can Cowash, Detangle, Leave in and Style!

I read about ecostyler custard. I then saw the product on ecostyler's website so I went online and purchased a couple of jars.

I figured out paying for postage is cheaper than me driving to the shop or taking public transport to another shop that may or may not have it.
No products...but I did buy a bunch of upzings for my hair... Awesome for jazzing up a twistout, a braidout, a frohawk and for updos...found them in clearance at Target...

I've also been loved up on the Dark and Lovely Au Natural Curl Smoothing Cream (name?) I'll check that label again (the names are SO long... urgh).

I seriously think if I lived in America I'd be so poor, because I would constantly be going to all the stores and getting my favourite products on the ground, whenever I saw them. And buying loads of impulse buys lol.

What that means is if you live in a mostly white area the stores won't stock many ethnic products because they figure people won't want them so you are out of luck. you will have to travel or order just like a person in another country would but with cheaper shipping. I used to have to go order or drive into another large city to get most lines but now my Sally's is great. My Target however only recently started carrying naturally curly products and still not as much as other Targets. No Camille Rose here. The Walgreens closest to me is more limited too.

Also being CG keeps me from a lot of purchases.

Anyway. I wanted to try the much-talked about Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner, so I splurged this morning while picking up some groceries for my work lunch. I really need to be on a no-buy. But I've been told I need this conditioner in my life, especially if I want to try the CG method or Cherry Lola Treatment more regularly.

I was down south again this weekend and stopped into a Kroger. I'm always drawn to see what is different at each grocery store, so I went by the haircare aisle to see what was new (my bf was annoyed, but he can't stop me!).
Was drawn to the III Sisters of Nature - Natural Curling Gelo for $7.99 (just peeked at their site; it's more expensive there?!). Says compares to Kinky Curly Curling Custard (which is about $15-$17 where I live). Splurged on it alongside my kale, bananas and double-chocolate chip cookies.

The fragrance is like a kick in the FACE--way, way too sweet/floral. But, reader, I am in love. WOW. WOW. WOW. It is even better than EcoStyler w/ Olive Oil. O_O I didn't put on a leave-in (quelle horror/gasp/shriek!), but just used this on damp hair and WOW. WOW. WOW. Hold. For. Days. Not gonna lie, kinda checking my hair out in the mirror just to be cute.

Last night I did SM Curling Soufflé + SM Shine & Moisture Mist + III Sisters of Nature - Natural Curling Gelo = shiny. bouncy. whateverthisisCUTE.

Am thinking I do not need shea butter in the summer at all.
