Has anyone tried Palmer's styling cream?

As in the same company that makes the coco butter? I happened to see this at my BSS this past weekend. They were charging too much for it(for a 5.25 oz container), but I found it cheaper online.

The ingredients didn't look bad when I glanced over it. It looks like a thick cream, with maybe a gel-like hold. Thinking of splurging just because I need a new cream styler that won't hurt my pockets.
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

Hi,

I used to use vigoral curls curling creme and when all three major black hair supplies stores in my area ran out I was devastated! So in looking for replacements I found Organics Texture My Way Curl Keeper and the Palmer's styling cream. I re-twist my hair in big twists every night and untwist the next day so I wanted something that would give me good curl definition without weighing down my hair.

My vote is for palmer's all the way. It smells weird, but I don't notice the smell in my hair mostly because a little goes a very long way. This stuff makes my hair shiny and curly all day as promised and by the end of the week my still feels light without that tacky weigh down by the time I'm ready to wash my hair. The curl keeper works great as well and smells like bubble gum but definitely causes buildup in my hair.

I've been moving away from artificial products and I like to use products that contain ingredients I can read so palmer's is a guilty pleasure for me (until I figure out how to make my own styling cream). It does contain ingredients I can't call but anything that can be used everyday without leaving a buildup is a HUGE plus in my book. It's also pretty cheap (I've bought 3 more jars in case the supplies store runs out!).

Hope this helps you!
