Ayurvedic Herb Spinoff Thread

Like Tree5Likes

I know that this thread is old but if anyone knows, I really am interested in herbs that would grow my hair, define/tighten my curls, but not turn my hair black? I am trying to get a great red (have considered henna but not sure if I am ready to take the plunge with that) and don't want darker hair.

Have not seen this thread in a hot minute so...

I am still using marshmallow root to DC and am thinking of making a leave in with only marshmallow root and an oil...have not decided on which oil yet.

I also wish there was a more finely ground brand of marshmallow root. While Mountain Rose Herbs is great, I still get some fibers remaining after I rinse.

^ have you been to Olive May in EO. I love their marshmallow root.
I use an ayurvedic spray leave in by Lace Naturals and my hair abosolutely loves it as a refresher. it has marshmellow as one of the ingredients. I also use an ayurvedic shampoo bar that has eliminated my dandruff.

My favs for my body are EVOO soap and goats milk. I get compliments all the time on my skin. Yesterday someone asked me what kind of makeup I had on and I was delighted to tell them I wasn't wearing makeup.
