Talking MiraCurl Curling Gelly on 4a hair, what do you think?

OK so I have been an unofficial product tester for Beauty by Donna Marie products and I was just sent a jar of the *New* MiraCurl Curling Gelly and I have to say, it resembled another product's texture so closely that I was kind of shocked when I opened the jar.

It is slightly pink because she uses beet root for color, but other than that it is slimy, goopy, and very jelly like. I put it on a section of my hair in the front and immediately got major curl clumping & definition. When she had stopped making the Coco Curly Butter I was a little upset because I used that religiously but now she has replaced that with the MiraCurl Curling Gelly.
I haven't done my whole head because I am going to wait until next week to try it because I just put braids in my hair for a braid out but you better believe next Saturday I am definitely trying this out. I will make sure that I post my results for you ladies to see. I am excited but I am not getting to excited just in case it is a flop and it doesn't work on my cottony hair but from the results I got on the little section I tried it on, I may have my new best friend, LOL. I'll keep you posted!!

Would you post the ingredients? What is the fragrance like is it natural or strong?

The fragrance is a pretty strong sweet fruity smell, kind of reminds me of Juices and Berries from Oyin Handmade. I love strong scents so it doesn't bother me but it is very strong.

Here are the ingredients directly from the site:

Purified water, aloe vera juice, linseed extract, plantago psyllium extract, vegetable glycerin, slippery elm root, rosemary extract, hibiscus extract, xanthan gum, Pro-Vitamin B5, Avocado oil, beet root (for color), silver citrate, citric acid, potassium sorbate and fragrance.

It is her new formula!

are you saying it resembles KCCC?

from the ingredients, it appears to be a mixture of KCCC and Qhemet Honeybush Soft Gel.

glad you like it! it is always nice to find a product that works for one's hair.

Yes, it looks like KCCC with a pink tint to it. It is slimy and goopy just like it. I haven't tried the Qhemet Honeybush gel but I have seen great reviews on it. I would love to here from other 4a & 4b users that have tried the product because many women on the 3 boards use it daily and they love it but with out hair it's either a hit or miss.

Hey ladies I know I said that I wasn't going to try the MiraCurl Curling Gelly until next week but I just couldn't wait to try it. So I tried it tonight, I cleansed my hair with ACV rinse I applied the MiraCurl Detangler and then I shingled the Curling Gelly in my hair section by section like I would the KCCC or any other gel and I got major major curl clumpage, LOL that's a new word! My curls don't clump at all by itself, my hair is very cottony but this curling gelly instantly clumped my hair, I actually like the results better than when I use the KCCC. I never thought I would say this but I am surprising myself with that statement. Any way here are the results of my hair using the gelly.

Sorry I am still not fully unpacked so your gonna see boxes and clutter behind me in the pics.

I am not really feeling the MiraCurl Detangler, it didn't soften my hair enough or make it easier to detangle so I ended up using the Dary's Botanicals Daily Leave In instead and the results were night and day!

Default Very pretty

Your hair looks very pretty. Is it still wet or dry in the pics? When it did dry was your hair still soft or crunchy?

Thanks for posting pics!

My hair was still wet in the pics, I will post pics of when it was dry for you ladies. She is selling it on the site already, it was out of stock but now it is available.

My hair dried pretty much how my hair dries with the KCCC which is always a little stiff but then I just smoothed a little leave in conditioner over it and the stiffness was gone. I'll post pics later on!

Here is my hair fully dry. I got some shrinkage as I usually do but not a whole bunch, and my hair is really defined and soft.

Your hair looks great. Love the clumpage and definition. Now off to go see if I can get some. Hopefully, my fellow PJs haven't bought it all.
