unfortunately, you are not going to maintain the semi-wet look that you see with some texturizers. you can look for products that add shine/sheen like pomades. u are using great products so it's just a matter of learning what your hair likes/dislikes as time goes on...

when i 1st did the BC my hair used to be dry. i started cowashing daily and eliminated silicones (-cones). this took care of my issue. water and no cones became my bff.

Emulsify some shea butter in your palms and scrunch over the KCKT. Also, only use the shampoo every so often. Use the KCKT or a cheaper conditioner like Suave Naturals or GVP Matrix conditining balm to co-wash. You're not putting anything in your hair that can't be washed out with a conditioner.

When I had a TWA I wet my hair every day. Maybe use Long Aid curl activator under EcoStyler?

I am with you on wanting a huge Fro! I reccommend Qhemets Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm after your KCKT. You may actually find its enough to give you some curl def, but if not you can always add a gel on top for that. I think either hydrating balm or Qhemets heavy cream will give you the moisture you need for healthy hair and to promote growth.

I would suggest giving up the Shampoo. I like Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Condish for the cowash. You can see my routine in my siggy.
