I saw this is the bss today and I was thinking great .. another product I could add but nnnoooo... I read the ingredients and BAM! . . . . Mineral Oil (which is the 3rd ingredient) so I put it down and kept walking down the aisle. Oh well.

oh great, just my luck getting all excited for nothing, i guess i'll just stick with the loc and twist gel it has a pudding consistency to it anyway.

yeah i came in here because the thought of a product hte consistency of pudding has me excited

i dont know i think im ok with mineral oil! cant believe i said that

i think for the relative inexpensiveness of this product and maybe using it once a month for styling it shouldn't be an issue.

but then again that's me

i guess i wouldn't want to buy something i can't return etc so i doubt i ill be trying this

but i definitely am looking for something with this consistency

Looks kinda like the ingredients for MJ curly pudding...... but at the price it should be. I don't mind mineral oil either. I just clarify afterwards. I may try this too

Miss jessies
water, parafinium liquidum, glycerin, triethanolamine, fragrance, carbomer, PEG-12 dimethicone, dipropylene glycol, silk amino acids, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, avocado oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil, macademia seed oil, oleth05, ethylhexyl methoxycinnanate, disodium EDTA, DMDM hydantion, ext. violet 2

This is about 30 dollars less

I haven't tried it yet.. I generally like the ORS line, but they sometimes do make products with mineral oil in them and I don't know why considering that's about as UN-organic an ingrediant as you can get.

p.s. April your hair is looking good!

I went out and bought it yesterday. I have a problem. But I'm so happy with that. I will wash this weekend. I may try it and report back but I also have not used my cantu yet so we'll see which one strikes my fancy when I'm twisting.

The PJ in me is going to find this product and try it out. It sounds like it may need to be used occasionally. It is good to have a backup product when the HG's run out.

I have it but haven't tried it for wash n' go's yet. Based on the "feeling" of the product, I don't think it will provide the "control/hold" i'm looking for, but it does slick back my hair well when I wear it pulled back in a low ponytail puff. The scent is ok...not bad, just a little strong and lingering...so you will constantly be smelling it throughout the day (which is another reason I haven't tried it all over for wash n' go's.)

the consistency of this stuff had me kinda pissed more lotion like not at all pudding/custard. the loc and twist gel is more pudding like. normally i open products and sniff/feel em out before i make my purchase but this was sealed(came with a free sample of edge control gel).

I used and I like it so far I think my hair is a mixture between a 3c/4a. It soft and my curls are well defined and since I started using the product people have complemented me more on my hair and how curly it is. Usually my hair is just kind frizzy and it helped define the curls. Its good for wash and go's and braid out for a gel. I liked the edge control a lot as well for hairs that may need extra attention for example frizzy or straight parts. But overall i like it . It keeps my hair soft and keeps the style in hold and helps define my curls

This product gave a good looking braid out but my hair was dry the next day. That was to be expected. The product is marketed as a gel replacement. I will try it in the same manner as gel, with a moisturizer then the product. It is not moisturizing on its own.
the little edge control product is bomb! My edges have never laid down . No amount of gel, shea butter, brushing or scaves will make them lay down..but edge control does. Do they sell that separately?
