I'm pretty sure vitamin e has preservative qualities as well. Those might be working together to preserve the products. Both are in the butters and looking at mine it still smells and looks as good as it did when I first got it. Plus those look like they come in bottles so its not like your hands would be all up in it- it probably won't get exposed to bacteria like say the butter in a jar would

I spoke to the owner and she said that since she combines GSE with glycerin, the combo is an excellent preservative and the conditioners are made to order AND have a shelf life of about 4 months.

You'll love the butters. I have yet to smell the almond joy but the other two smell really good.
She has really good deals on top of good products. What a way to run a business

The Almond Joy smells very similar to the Heavenly Delight, they are both sweet scents, and the almond is a little more nutty. I love them both!

Ok I received my package yesterday...I have to say these products smell GREAT, not to mention she fills them to the brim but i'm sorry I didn't get the soothing lavender & eucalyptus gel though!!! May use them this weekend, glad I decided to give it a try.

Hey ladies- how are you using the gels and butters together for twist?? Do the twist stay in together well and not frizz up??

I havent done it yet but when twisting (on blow dried hair) I would put a dab of butter on the section to twist then a smaller dab of gel on top. When I'm done with my whole head, I'd rub some butter over my whole head and then seal with coconut oil

I just bought a gang of AfroVeda (I buy once for the year), and dabbled in a little bit of Donna Marie, but DANG it if I am not all caught up in wanting some Koils by Nature. Her new scents are calling me...Marvelous Mango? Wonderful Watermelon? Would it be wrong to buy them as my "summer scents" for hair butter? Should hair be a four-season affair, like clothing? I would appreciate someone talking me down from the ledge lol...

I have the shealoe leave-in. It is a creamy leave-in that moisturizes and really detangles. I will repurchase. I hope she makes a larger bottle in the future.

Can any of you ladies tell me what your experience has been with Koils by Nature and shipping? I am itching to purchase a couple of her products while I am waiting for my AfroVeda shipment (I know, you all warned me). I want to take advantage of the April special for free shipping AND try that new herbal gel. But I just want to know if it is hassle-free and preferrably fast.

The first time I ordered from Koils by Nature it wasn't a really good experience because it was at the time those massive snow storms hit the east coast. I ordered a second time and it was much better though and I got a free sample so I was happy. It took only a few days

I just ordered from her and the shipping was AMAZING. I placed my order on April 2 and it arrived April 9.

I haven't used the products yet but the shipping time was phenomenal. No waiting eons for products to arrive.
