There 2 reviews on her site. No reviews yet for the conditioner. But looking at the ingredients for the conditioner, it doesn't look like it does anything special.

Does the gel have any hold to it? Is it a light or medium hold? Thanks.

I took out my kinky twists yesterday so I am getting ready to use the gel and the butter to do my twists for a twist out later in the week. I'll post a review when I'm done

The gel is...too awesome. It will be my staple gel. The price is great, and the product is too. That's all I'm gonna say.

I got the package today Nea!! This citrus bliss is ON POINT!! It may be my summer moisturizer vs. my hair sealer..LOL!! The almond joy is a little blah. I was expecting a different smell.

The peppermint gel looks promising and based on your thumbs up I'm looking forward to trying it. Are you doing wash n go's with it or protective styling? Both??

The owner was sooo nice and sent me a 2oz free shea-loe LI sample since it was sold out on the site when I was buying. I'm thinking of using it under the gel and seeing what happens.

I really liked the gel. I got really nice definition on my twist out and it wasn't crunchy at all

Girl....Nea don't do "wash n go's", lol! I'd be bald as a peach. I use gel primarily for twisting (on top of a butter or cream, for extra hold particularly in the front), and for reducing frizz around my edges.

Yes, two of the things I like about Koils By Nature is they include a sample or two...of something, and they send shipping notices. The customer service is top notch.

I agree with the cust. svc. Duly noted on the no WnG. How long does it take you to do your hair normally and how long does your style typically last? I do protective styles and they take me forever and only last three days max.

Two-strands twists take forever....hours. I'm considering going to the salon. I just can't do it anymore....and they don't look the best when I do them, because I can't get the back right. So, all that time, for less-than-stellar results? No more.

Now, braids for braidouts take the shortest amount of time, which is what I've been doing lately. I haven't timed how long it takes...I'm guessing a little over an hour, maybe?

A twistout/braidout will last me about 5 days...without rebraiding nightly, and that's because I wash every 5-7 days. I may touch up (rebraid) a small section in the front, because the texture is looser. The back section of my hair could probably go for 10 days. It holds definition that well....even with misting with water-based leave-ins.

I got the Afroveda as well as Qhemet to see if the product changes would make the difference. I've yet to test but I'm hoping it will. It would be nice not to have to wet my hair daily to get a result.

The Afroveda Hempseed Twist, Lock and Roll Butter is VERY good, and I get good definition with it.

I used to twist with QB Amla and Olive Heavy Cream, and the Honeybush gel and my twistouts always looked good and held up well.

If I had to re-twist/braid my hair every night, I would not make it.

This is exactly why mine only lasts 3 days. I suppose they could go longer, but I have little tolerance for crown frizz.

Thats the ONLY AV product I dont have because at the time I wasn't into the Hemp smell. but now that I'm cool with it I may have to bite. I'm not a fam of the smell of the Shea-Amla Whipped Butter Cream, but that with the PUR whipped gelly really packs the umph in my twist outs.

Does your gel say it has glycerin? I just got mine today and it says there is glycerin in it on the label, but not on the site.

My hair hates glycerin.

I am soooo hoping that that is a typo. Because I noticed some other irregularities on the labels for the body butters. I really want to have options for a gel without glycerin.

Me too, I sent her an email as well. I really like the texture, it's similar to the Califia Styling Pudding, which I love.
