Koils By Nature
Koils By Nature
One of the owner's sent me an 8oz jar of the "Citrus Bliss" Nourishing Hair and Body Butter to try...WOW! Can I just say....WOW!!
I usually don't list ingredients in my posts, because...I just don't, especially when it's easier to just visit the site. But, I had to make an exception this time:
Ingredients: Shea butter, kokum butter, mango butter, avocado butter, aloe butter, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, kosher vegetable glycerin, organic honey, hydrolyzed jojoba protein, vitamin E, grapefruit seed extract, essential and fragrance oils.
The jar is filled to the very top, and the consistency is VERY thick cream, that emulsifies completely when you rub it in your hands...no "white" residue. Nice smooth texture. It would be EXCELLENT for two-strand twists and/or braids. Smells divine...not too strong, but noticeable. I love citrusy scents, so I'm all in.
I just applied a bit of it thru my hair, concentrating on the ends...and I'm definitely impressed. I can't give a complete review, because I wanna try it on my next set of twists. It's expensive to purchase..$20 for an 8 ounce jar. However, look at the ingredient list. It's a very rich, nourishing butter cream....and you don't need much of it. I won't be using this on my body, though. It's reserved for the hair.
I will definitely order from this line. CoilsKinksCurls did a video review.

Yes...you should. It would be interesting to know your thoughts on the Nourishing Hair and Body Butter vs. SNBE's Dream Butter Cream.

I just did a review on YouTube on this line! The products are wonderful. The butters melt down on your hair and skin like nothing and thy make the hair and skin so soft. I have the ACV rinse but I can't use that because my hair just doesn't seem to like acv so I will be posting this on the swap board other than that I like the other products.
The gel is great to, smells like peppermint, yummy!

Any more updates on this line?? I became a fan on FB. They prices are high. The only samples they offer at the moment is the butters. I'm interested in the leaves ins & conditioners as well. Hopefully with their prices they will offer samples for their other products as well...
I was just wondering if people are still using this line ;}

I was talking to the owner on another hair site, ordered some of her stuff and she sent me a sample of her Hair and Body Butter in Heavenly Delight.
Oh. My. Lawd.
Smells so good I almost slapped it on some toast. And let's not even talk about how it felt on my hair! Needless to say, I gotta go cuz I about to order some more of her stuff....

The butters in their blends are very rich (and not cheap)...you only need a little. Plus, the jars are filled to the top. That's where it's economical.
I have an 8oz jar, and even I rotate it with a few other products. I'll have it for a good while.

Technically, if you get the gift basket...you end up saving $3, and you also get free shipping...

Bumping this thread...she has $5 off the butters right now with the code 'love' and the samples have free shipping.
I placed an order for some butters (heavenly delight and sweet almonds joy - told you guys I can't resist dessert) last Friday and she shipped them on Monday.
Has anyone tried her gels? The peppermint one looks interesting...and it's only $9 for 8oz.

No, I haven't. The reason I haven't purchased is because I have Ohm Body's Aloe Gel, Afroveda's Pur Whipped Jelly, AND Healing Herbs by Rene's Irie Herbal Hair Gel. I don't need anymore gel...Lol! I don't use a lot of gel, so it's not something I can quickly get rid of.
I would definitely try it.

Oh she fixed the site, thanks! I was confused because it was 16oz, then when I clicked the full description it changed to 8oz. And now I must hold back the PJ in me and wait a few months...
