I figure I can't go wrong with identifying with 4b/4c, because (in the past) I made the mistake of following hair regimens posted by people who said they were 4b, but I would consider 4a by looking at their hair...it always failed me.

My sister yesterday discovered a whole new class..she's calling herself a 5. lol
LoL! I'm 4s myself. I'm "4a" but my hair is more of an "s" than a corkscrew. It's defined and has a pattern but its more of a wave pattern.

ANYWAY! I've noticed a lot of people STILL don't know what curl pattern means. I've known people to assume they are 4b because they're BLACK!!! No, I'm not KIDDING!!!! No matter how many times you go over pattern and such and people still don't get it. Lost cause. LoL!

I just say '4' now to make it easier, but yeah the hair typing system causes confusion as you can see with my post earlier.
I twist my hair too, but I'm talking a long break. Wearing twists a lot makes my hair knotty!

Here's a twist I wore sometime back, using medium-small three strand twists.
