Growth Challenge...reloaded

Hello ladies and gents, I am still in the challenge. I have been using a Abba deep treatment once a week.I am still taking the biotin ans flaxseed supplements. I only moisturize with all natural coconut oil.I have noticed major growth and it seems that my hair is more thicker. Hopefully, soon I can add some pics to showcase the growth process. If anyone know of anything that can speed up the growth process, please let me know. Good luck everyone!!!

Hi All!!

I'm sorry to report that I've had a big setback. My hair broke off really bad in the back (I have pictures of the breakage in my album...it's really bad), I'm not sure why yet. I'm seeing a dermatologist on next Tuesday. In the meanwhile I'm trying to decide if I'll bc and start from scratch or have some type of cut to try to cover up the damage...I dunno.

4A&B -- Henna and the entire Essential Balms product line; lately Carol's Daughter honey mimosa & black vanilla leave-in. Staple products are SheaMoisture, Aubrey Organics and Trader Joes Norish Spa conditioner, ACV and IC Fantasia Gel. I'm also Mixtress (I love making my own hair concoctions )

Be encouraged -- Cuzz Fuzz is what it Duzz!!

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully the doc can help you figure out what happened and what you can do now to start the re-growth process. Keep us posted and good luck at the dermatologist.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

Add flaxseed! I went to an alternatives medicene talk at a conference last month and the doctor (who is a 'research debunker') said that flaxseed (either supplements, the seeds or the oil) could stand alone without a multi. The benefits are vast and help with everything from processing protein to glowing skin. He said if you take a multi and flaxseed, then you're set.

I'd been taking flax before I met him, but after listening to him bash other supplements and diets, I was worried about what he'd say about the flaxseed oil...well, he takes it too!

I take 1000mg every day. I buy mine from Whole Foods, but I'm sure most stores have them. Be sure to keep them in the fridge to extend shelf life. I started taking it for hair, skin and nails and heard about the other health benefits later.

And i think i will get flaxseed oil as well to top it off... I'll do the oil, not another capsule because I don't want to jinx my consistency so far! I'm doing a growout challenge to get rid of my color, so i am on a 6mth challenge now. For now, I think my goal is your current length, curlynikki... i am about 4 inches and much fullness away from you

I will post pictures soon...
