Over the past few months I've done 3 henna treatments and 1 cassia treatment and I've not noticed any curl loosening.

All the times I've used henna in the past, it has never loosened my hair.

Thanks.
I have 5 inches and am also more 4a/ more 4b! I used Henna and what it did for me: slightly tinted my hair, loosened it a little, not much, but made it SO much softer. I'm going to keep using it every 4 weeks

I also seen several times that henna has a more drastic effect on your hair with the curl loosening effect when it comes to having fine textured hair...regardless of hair type. Any fine haires type 4 naturals out there who can share their results?

I have fine hair and plan to do a henna gloss treatment for the first time once Im done visiting my parents house.

I have fine hair and it didn't change my pattern at all. I was actually very hesitant because the back section of my hair is WAVY = afro mullet *smh* so I didn't want anything to make that part even LOOSER lol. I attached two pics of my hair during my last henna session in november.

I've been using henna for almost 3 years now. I've done 100% intensity henna treatments lol and i've done henna glosses when i just can't be bothered.

everybody's hair is different but hey just thought i'd share! no curl loosening for me!

Thanks for sharing! Love your hair btw. Its funny how henna gives different resukts to several people. Another thing I wanted to know if whether or not the henna gloss thickened up your fine strands a bit? Thats one of my main reasons for wanting to try it along with having better shine to my hair.

I'm not all that sure on my hair type and texture. I henna all the time. About 2 to 3 times a months. I have noticed it loosens my curls and thickens up my hair. I do it for the coloring benefits because I have a lot of gray.

hmm after I henna, my hair does feel thicker (opposite of thin) since it adds a layer of protein to the hair strand, but overall, my hair is pretty much the same as it's always been to be honest. i don't think anything will ever make my hair feel more coarse (opposite of fine). mehhhhh :/ lol
