Sorry but I haven't tried it. I know that some people use pomades for that.
Personally, I use aloe vera gel and other natural gels (qhemet, kiss my face, aubrey organics) for slicking.

Hey 4bcurlygirl,
It is very moisturizing, but I don't find it lays my edges down. Hope this helps!

ITA with Tawanalee. The Extra Butter works good on my twistouts but not for the edges. I don't like gel either but my edges are hard to slick down.
I use EcoStyler gel. Komaza Care Coconut Hair Pudding works great too. The Komaza Care doesn't flake either. Every other product will moisturize but not give the hold my hair needs.

I love all of these ideas
Thanks so much for all of your imput ladies!!! I really appreciate it... I think im still going to try the extra butter for my twists, and find a good pomade to lay my edges down... I see that DB has some I want to try.

I don't have 4b hair, but I have the UFD extra butter, and I don't think that would work for your edges.
I think Mygel would work for you, it's basically the same as LetsJam!, but with all natural ingredients.

Yaaaaaaaayyyy!!! Yet ANOTHER all natural product to try!!! The only gel I found that doesn't dry hard for me is MHC Coconut Hair Gel. Dries soft with a soft hold. But I love to try new things...the PJ in me is ecstatic!! Thank you dear!!!

Hey Chaoticbliss, over the weekend I was at WholeFoods and seen a gel "Super Grow" it looks just like the "MyGel" and has the same ingredients, so I picked it up. I'll let you know how it works
