Bringing out your 4b Curls

Ok so my sister ChenaJ(4a forum) took one look at my hair and said lets get those curls going, I was like it will never happen but oh my Gosh she did this mix for me and it was just amazing. totally amazing. so the hair went from a combed out Afro to lovely curls.
It was fairly simple
She made a Ayurveda paste about two weeks ago and froze it. Sh edefrosted it. I put it in my hair added some heat for about 20mins, then I left it without heat for 20mins, did a Co-wash, used Curl Harmony Leave in conditioner (Ive been nursing it) Then I sealed it with Shea Butter. Absolutly amazing curls. YEAH!!!!

The first pic attached is the finished product
Second on is during the the process
Third pic is what it looked like before
Have fun trying!!!

WOW your hair looks great! Could you tell your sister to post the recipe? My sister is doing her BC in a couple of weeks, and since she's never been short AND natural before, I'd like to know everything I can about helping her to take care of her hair (so I'll know what to do when I do MY BC in June).
Nice pictures Noni!! Congrats on your BC as well, lovely hair

Amla: 4 -5 heaped tbls
Bringaraj (Maka): 2-3 heaped tbls
Bhrami: 2-3 heaped tbls
Kapoor Kalchi: 2-3 heaped tbls
Hibiscus: 3-4 heaped tbls
Fenugreek: 1-2 heaped tbls
Qasil: 3-4 heaped tbls
Arugula oil: approx 1/2 cup

mixed it with water first until it had the consistency of mud, then added coconut milk until it was smooth, lump free and the consistency of pouring yoghurt. I think i may have added agave nectar too, about 1/2 a cup.

HTH!
hair type - definately 4a

wash - any baby shampoo

conditioning styler - homemade blend with shea, coconut, avocado mango, plam, castor, almond and essential oils

Your hair is wayyyyyyy too fly! I love it
Your curls look beautiful noni. I love!

@chenaj
Great ayurvedic recipe. I think I'll have to try out this recipe sometime. I usually do my ayurvedic pastes with everything in your recipe except arugula oil, qasil and kapoor kachlii. I can easily get the kapoor kachlii from Ekua's store but where did you buy the arugula oil and qasil? TIA!
