Big Chop Question

My sister has 4B hair and just got the BC today. All of my other sisters are natural as well, but they have 3a, 3b and 3c, respectively. I'm transitioning back to my natural hair (4a/4b mix) and I'm doing MY BC in July. I wanted to know if you had any tips about the nuances of growing it out. Thanks!
The most important thing is to keep your hair is to not strip your hair with hair shampoos. Use moisturizing conditioners. Use a leave-in conditioner. Use creamy moisturizers. Seal your moisture in with an oil. If you hair doesn't have a naturally defined curl pattern, you my have to set your hair in braids and twists.

You are welcome take a look at blog article on transitioning.
