Gleau Hair Care
Okay all you seasoned and budding PJs, with hair that loves oils....
Gleau Oil Blend- Moroccan Argan Oil
- Camellia Oil
- Meadowfoam Oil
- Sweet Almond Oil
I got a sample, some time ago, and I really couldn't tell much, because the sample was very small. I would have rather paid for a larger (1oz) sample.
However, I was intrigued, and while NO OIL has been able to beat my Nu Ade Super Hair Oil, this oil is worth a second look...it's lightweight, and would be perfect for summer. I'm gettin' some!

What's in Nu Ade Super Hair Oil ???
I've never even heard of it. My hair does pretty good with oil.. I use it everyday with my homemade leave-in conditioner. It's just half castor oil and half evoo.
So yeah..what's in this "Super Hair Oil".. hmmmmmmmmmm

A peanut oil, castor oil, and olive base, with some essential oils, including Frank and Myrrh. Now, I know some folks don't like Frank and Myrrh...and I can be one of those folks. Cuz some stuff smells like cheap incense. But THIS stuff...I'll follow a dude for days, with this stuff in his locs. LOLl!
People stop me and ask, "WHAT is that wonderful smell!" It's not overpowering...not too "earthy". Hard to explain.
It's really rich, and it sinks in my hair and makes it feel like velvet. I mist my hair with one of my many water-based moisturizers, and add some of this oil on top...I'm good to go. Best oil blend I've ever used. There is a lighter version, which is just labeled "Hair Oil". I like the "Super" because it's richer and works best for my hair.
HOWEVAH, I'm going to try the Gleau, just because it's got Argan oil in the mix, without the cones and other stuff that's in "Morrocan Oil" type products.

NEA - why am I having visions of a pusher and an addict? You keep coming up with new stuff for me (the addict) to test out, keeping me coming back for more product...but I am going to check this out. My hair loves oil.
I know. I could just resist but I won't. I am a junkie. There - I said it. Didn't GI Joe say "knowing is half the battle" lol
But really, why does my immediate fam know that if someone needs something done to their hair or skin that my hall closet is the place to visit?

I know. But see, I feel...a responsibility to share with everyone all the new stuff I find!
Plus, I don't think I'm the worst PJ up in here. Let's see, we got EMPRESSRI, who "pushes" to a MUCH wider audience, due to YouTube. Plus, she has LOADS of stuff that probably ain't even in her Fotki.
We got SHAWNY, who "breaks down" her product collection, based on what she's trying out, currently using and not using. I mean her Fotki is so...organized.
Then, there's ELLEPIXIE, who's new among us PJs, but just as "strung out" and on top of the latest/greatest stuff.
LOL! I LOVE it!

I am intrigued by this product because I love argan oil but so many of the pther products have too much other "stuff" in them for me. I am looking this up when I get home tonite!

I ran across this site last night and bookmarked it. I'm looking for some Argan oil products and this one intrigued me. I'll decide what I'm going to order this weekend. Review, please!

Does the nu ade oil contain coconut oil? Me and coconut oil do not get along  !

Coconut oil is not listed on the label/site....just peanut, olive and castor, along with essential oils.

FYI
I got my Gleau Oil today. The site doesn't list all the oils in the blend. Here's the label ingredients, in the order they appear on the label:
Moroccan Argan Oil, Camellia Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E.
It's unscented.

I received my oil over the weekend and used it to seal as I put dry twists in my hair. I like the texture and it doesn't have a scent to it which is fine.
I didn't realize it had coconut oil in it until after I bought it. My hair is iffy about coconut oil, so I was worried, but since its further down the list, nothing weird has happened. I like it so far.
Now I ended up getting quite a bit on my hands and I must say this is wonderful on the skin! Someone told me to try apricot oil for my hands for this dry winter and this by far absorbs better and lasts longer. If it doesn't work on my hair, I'll finish using it on my body.

I've been using Gleau as a sealer, on top of my Mozeke Whipped Avocado Butter, on my blown out hair. I blow my hair straight, when I trim.
I have to say it's a really good oil. It penetrates really well, and it's not greasy.

You're referring to the Frank and Myrrh oil or the Super Hair oil?
