wow! i thought that any hormonal birth control, particularly estrogen ones, was not recommended while breastfeeding.
is it worth it to breastfeed if you have to be medicated with hormones to prevent pregnancy and take other meds to keep your milk supply up?
i'd probably opt to get off the hormones, use condoms, and allow my milk supply to naturally increase and maintain it from there, returning to hormones after ceasing breastfeeding.
it just seems like you'd need too many interventions just to breastfeed, and you'd have all of those medicines in your baby's milk.
good luck with the multi-tasking. i know how taxing it can be.
